Hum, to be serious and avoid a qui-proquo, I want to say that it's not at all a question of majority or minority ...
In starting a discussion, I was wishing that we yet could, here, talk about a topic as adults members ; but, visibly, it's not possible because some want to ignore other point of view, some want to believe that a discussion implies winners and loosers, and some want only to joke and are not concerned ...

Oh I like gags and lots of folks like a combo of crux and gag...after all there are so many ways to vary the crux experience, let alone the BDSM spectrum.

Ok, my serious comment is that much of my feelings about gags comes from the fact that I am usually fantasizing when I post on the site, and my fantasies are about perilous situations that are real, whether in the past (often) or present. So my preference is always for gags that might realistically be readily at hand in a given situation rather than for commercialized bdsm-style equipment or paraphernalia. So the filthy old rag stuffed in my mouth, the wet undies or cloth just stripped from my trembling body, duct tape brutally applied, etc. are erotically exciting to me. I know others here have wider interests, but certainly part of the discussion here can be about realism.

That Tree is exactly what I meant by fantasizing realistically about perilous situations that might befall me. And the use of a gag to shut me up early in an interrogation ... forcing me to focus my wide-eyed attention on the trouble I am in and what might be coming ... might be the most effective way of scaring the hell out of me.
