I too tend to prefer the darker renderings over the lighter. Again, they suit the mood of the image. Crucifixion is a dark and bloody business, even when it happens in the light of an exceptionally sunny and bright day!:eek:

I must respectfully disagree, though, about realism. Considering the subject, the more realism the better. Maybe it's my dark side in this fantasy, but when I see myself in these scenes I'm bloody, sweaty, messy, straining, heaving, naked, exposed, screaming, grunting, pissing....suffering in extreme agony and humiliation. I love your darker stuff: so moody, so atmospheric, so suffused with the reality of crucifixion...just wonderful...at least in this crux-gal's opinion.:D
 
Which gives you the greater flexibility as the artist? I have a feeling that those of us who count ourselves as your audience will look and enjoy your work no matter which you happen to chose.

Wow, wow, wow, wow, and WOW!!!!! This image is so many degrees of fucking awesome I cannot even begin to describe my reaction when I saw it!:D:eek:;)

You are among the premier visual artists on this site hornet!!! This image captures all the horrors, agony and eroticism of crucifixion for me. Her facial features are perfect: contorted in exertion and utter agony. Oh, if only I had such a perfect body as hers,....yet, this is how I fantasize about being crucified -- bloody, naked, exposed...in all my glory!!!:eek::eek::eek: :D

Putting myself in the picture I can only imagine the crowd staring up at me, pointing, laughing, jeering as I hang and dance and twist on the cross, utterly naked to their cruel stares and viscous words. Ohhhhh yeah!!!!

Am I an innocent? Or do I deserve this? Or does it matter?

I have no skill for this...nor the time to invest in learning, so I really stand (hang?) in awe of such talent as yours. Other than a preference for a little more muscle definition (in the shoulders and arms, for instance), and a bit more pubic hair over her mons, this is perfection for the crux-gal junkie that I am. You feed my deepest, darkest fantasies hornet!!!

Thank you so, so much for sharing your amazing talent with us. I can only hope you'll continue to do so.

I totaly agree ! You and SG are my preferate artists : but also continue to post on the foundation, I hope ...;)

I find it depends. In some (post 133) I prefer the Iray. In others (post 137) I prefer the Delight. I love the one in post 143 :) Some of those Iray nipples are just right
 
Old scenes revisited in Nvidia Iray,i'm still learning how to adjust the luminosity of the scenes and adjust the virtual camera settings (exposure,F/stop,iso) getting some good results:

I have a very nice Canon Rebel T3i digital camera that 99% of the time I don't have to think about such things. While I get great pictures my photography skills have slipped so every once in a while I dig out the old Pentax K1000 and shoot some film in odd lighting just to get some of the mojo back...

Yes, it is a special moment with those arms stretched for the first time against the beam. The realisation that this is the moment, she is really in trouble. Her body is tight , her ribs and chest rise with the arms, and there is a moment, almost peaceful, before the reality of the first nail, the first penetration, a physical violation so extreme and so at odds with her own beauty and dignity.
