Apropos of ballet, I'm mulling over a story based on the Firebird stories. In this story, the Princess of Great Beauty would likely be a Slavegirl of Great Beauty who ends up, well, something would happen to her anyway.
I'm sure Stravinsky would have wanted it that way, really.
