Pp has the old scaling board cleaned and ready and the rough old fishing knife to hand. Those scales will be gone in a few moments and she will be bare as a baby ......oh....wait.....she is? It's paint? .
These are supposed to be mermaids
but who ever heard of mermaids with umbrellas!

A mermaid needs an umbrella like a fish needs a bicycle!
They bring to Pp's febrile mind the image of a set of chess pieces. The pawn a prostrate slavegirl, the knight a ponygirl, the bishop a naughty nun and so on.Hmm, as the bicycle in the traditional version of that saying, I object!
ok, one for the collectors - you don't need a full sized dungeon to play with these

Think there's a Mirage there. Maybe French or Israeli, though the Argentine air force also famously used them, and they were sold to a lot of countries.Anyway, I know there are some people here who could figure this out!
No googling!
Prize question: The airforce of which nation is flying here? (Obviously some of these are vintage planes, but they're all from the service history)
View attachment 503324
Bonus points:
Which one of the planes was permitted to be flown only by unmarried pilots!
The Vatnot was a beautiful plane, but too easily identified by the enemy. That doesn't count as it was mostly on figuring out which country might have in their history this eclectic mix of British, French, and American planes, that's not such a common combination,
(India for instance, went British, French and Russian)
I couldn't have told which Mirage it is, or told apart the Venom from the basic Vampire shape
(hey what was it with British planes, you had venoms victors vulcans valiants vampires vixens and vatnots...)
Calling all American planes Lockheeds is sort of like calling all Russian planes MiGs ...
... still I'd say you win
Dravuor's complete series:They bring to Pp's febrile mind the image of a set of chess pieces. The pawn a prostrate slavegirl, the knight a ponygirl, the bishop a naughty nun and so on.
But then friend Google shows up examples such as these by Dravuo-r over at DeviantArt and Pp knows there is little new in this world

Wonderful. Thanks. Pp is pleased to see he created the knight as a ponygirl just as Pp imagined .

They're gorgeous! But I think the Queens should really be Dominatrices,Dravuor's complete series:

They're gorgeous! But I think the Queens should really be Dominatrices,
that's surely their role on the chess-board, the Rooks might be wee prison-cages
with naked prisoners chained inside, and the pawns need to be nude or nearly so -
she-elves, mini-amazons, or - as Pp suggests - naked (and dispensible) slavegirls
How come all the pieces are gagged? No back talk allowed? No fair!Dravuor's complete series:
