Shouldn’t they, by British naval tradition, given me a dram of rum before the clogging brgan? :rolleyes:

"Clogging"? Moore, with all the typos you make, I don't know why our great newspaper keeps you on. Well, actually, I do, but with #MeToo we won't talk about that:rolleyes:.

You are right, about rum and the lash, but wasn't sodomy also included?;) Do two women count as sodomy?

Blahhhhhhhh... it’s hard to edit my phone with arms bound over my head, and my knockers bouncing about. Fixed now.

But you are right, about rum and the lash, but wasn’t sodomy also included? .t

but not about that unmentionable third part ... that’s just for the sailor boys.

Only landlubbers use this word 'knockers'. Actually, 'fenders' sounds like a more appropriate maritime terminology!:p

And here I thought they were called "figureheads."

Considering that the foremast on a transatlantic liner is usually a steel tube containing a ladder to the crow's nest, this is an impressive feat! :D
Highly entertaining, Wragg! :)
Typical... a mariner in our midst! Actually, I did look up the diameter of a mast, but I thought 'to hell with it, why let the facts get in the way of a good yarn!' :p

Oh, just superb, Madi!! :clapping::clapping::clapping:

Hic! :oops:

Ooops, sorry Barb, I, er, I forgot! :doh:
And here I thought they were called "figureheads."

When I come calling, I shall rattle the 'figurehead' on your front door! :p

You're right, Windar, I haven't got the hang of the American language :confused:
