It's not a famous wall, but it's a drystane dyke (that's a wall in Scots, d'ye ken?) in a style typical of my part of the country -
but I don't recognise the location, I guess it must somewhere further up Scotland's West Coast.

Saturday, September 8, 2018–Day 248. It has been pouring rain all day–the remnants of a tropical storm that came ashore earlier this week and now has worked its way deep inland. It is damp, dreary and depressing outside. A lot of folks will be attending the football game this afternoon. At least those fools chose to sit out there in the rain. Look at it from the good side : it is still early september, and still summer. The rain comes from a tropical storm. Forecasts for Washington DC are rainy (99%), but temperatures close to 30 °C. Humidity 93%.
In such conditions, clothes rather feel like a sticky burden, and rain will be soft and warm, particularly on the naked body.
There are worse times of the year to get crucified.

Sunday, September 9, 2018–Day 249. Gravity really didn’t care if she was crucified on a tall cross where the all the crowd all had a good view of her suffering , or at eye level where her tormentors could stare closely into her pain-racked face , or nailed on a cross even lower with her feet so tantalizingly close to ground. She would dance and writhe in agony with the same intensity no matter what the height of the cross. The lower cross did, however, have one distinct advantage–it put the whore’s mouth at just the right level. Monday, September 10, 2019–Day 250. Here’s an emulation of the attached drawing that was done in November of 2016 and posted on the Foundation. I was unable to get into Foundation today to verify who the artist of the original drawing was. Whoever it was, it was a good drawing and I enjoyed doing the emulation. Perhaps someone can help identify the talented artist. Drawing and rendering are both entitled "A Beauty Struggles."

I love this one! I really like how she's been put up with just ropes. It makes the suffering longer, a longer time for the girl's mind to rattle about how, why, how long, and the rain being both a blessing and a chilling reminder that mother nature is going to take her life... as well that the longest hours are still to come.
