Jastrow's Pic of the Day

I love this one! I really like how she's been put up with just ropes. It makes the suffering longer, a longer time for the girl's mind to rattle about how, why, how long, and the rain being both a blessing and a chilling reminder that mother nature is going to take her life... as well that the longest hours are still to come.

Wonderful description of how death will take the girl to her grave Wolfie :)

Tuesday, September 11, 2019, Day 251. Always a sad day as we remember the events that took place 17 years ago and the many souls we lost that day. I’ve done a number of emulations of the old Yahoo Crux Group member Taryn’s drawings over the years to honor her memory. Here are three of them.

Jas, she has a thing for women's hair. You did an excellent job of matching her lady’s crown of flame.

A little bit of a thing. It seems have a bit of a signature with it! No boring hairstyles or short crops here! Why don’t they have their hair cut, loosened, or torn? Because I wanted them and to look like that! They might gave been wrestled onto the cross from the street, and that just what sort of hairstyle they had!

I wondered about the headband, as well, but when you're doing an emulation, you typically go with what's in the original.

I’m glad you left it in your excellent emulation! I wonder, though, as you were adding it, what sort of reason you thought up for why it was there?

I recognized it immediately as a hair band and thought that was really quite cool. Something a little different that attracted my attention.

Lovely, But I wish that instead of the index, she had raised the middle finger.

I’m sure Jas can give you a very scientific explanation of why those fingers are raised while the others are clenched, but I have to say, I like your idea just as well.

A hairband? On the Cross? But I'm guilty too. At first. I thought she was wearing headphones ("Tunes to be crucified to")

“Beatings by Dre”

And you aren’t guily of anything. Hair is the best kink. I mean, just imagine this woman decorating a lofty cross in some arid Mesopotamian palace... once the favored dancer in the palace, now hanging in shame, still wearing her elaborate hairstyle.

I mean, her hair game is on point!

Wednesday, September 12, 2018–Day 252. Here’s a new one entitled, "The Crux of the Matriarchy". The moans of the dying women could be heard from some distance away from the site of their execution, high above the sacred lake. It had began a few years earlier when the old king, a powerful and beloved warrior, had died and unexpectedly named his wife as the new ruler of the clan. A beautiful woman, she had ruled with kindness and mercy and had sought to establish peace with the surrounding tribes who had been bitter rivals for centuries. She had achieved success in this effort and peace and prosperity became the new normal in the region. Yet some of they men grew restless and chaffed under the rule of the queen. It was an insult to their masculinity to be ruled by a woman and, had you asked them, they would have said that the only value a woman had was the treasures between her thighs. They were warriors and again wanted to test their manhood in battle. What could be more glorious than beating a competing clan into bloody submission, plundering their riches, burning their villages, slaughtering their infants, and raping their women and forcing them into lives of involuntary sexual submission? Why work in the fields when one could capture another clan’s riches? And if one died in battle, wasn’t that infinitely better than dying in one's bed--old, toothless, senile and pissing themselves? The men were able to inflame the tribal bloodlust, but one thing stood in the way–the queen. When the time was right, the men acted. Her loyal guards were subdued and the queen, her aged mother and her young daughter were all captured. They were accused of sorcery and sentenced to death. As was the custom, the three were stripped naked. The queen’s beautiful flowing blond hair was crudely hacked off and they were each brutally beaten and savagely raped in all of their orifices. They were then led to the place of execution where 3 crosses awaited them. They were all nailed to the crosses--3 generations of women-- and after a long period of anguished suffering, they each died. And with the queen’s death, her foolish dream of a peaceful realm died, as well. Blood, death and war now reigned...as it had since the beginning of time..."

I love happy endings! :firedevil:

Jas, I've taken to doing closeups of your group crucifixion participants, the better to deduce character traits and emotional states. The daughter looks like a scrappy kid who, in addition to being terrified and in agony, is really pissed off.

Because she was hoping to be queen one day?

Speaking as a septuagenarian, that sentence does make some sense as I face the future.

I do have all my teeth, girls, quite handsome indeed!

And you are valuable for more than what's between you legs.
