I've had about 23 works deleted without warning in the last month; there are lots of similar stories about on DA. It seems there is a bit of a witch hunt going on recently, against erotic artists and writers. But that's a topic for another thread maybe

Apparently DA thinks this is "explicitly pornographic"... yet there's not a cock nor penetration to be seen anywhere, and the nudity is entirely justified artistically.

That is an amazing drawing Monty, there is so much going on! You normally focus on a single girl, but this is an ensemble piece, beautifully handled. The light, the way each figure has a place and an individuality, and our eye is both attracted to the action in the left foreground and drawn through the centre to the girls at the back. So well assembled.

Yes, and I know male miners in a lot of countries used to work and probably still work naked. I imagine (or would like to imagine) this may have been the case in the 18th century as well!

Thank you very much phlebas - I worked hard on the composition, re-arranging figures (and adding and subtracting them too) until I got an arrangement that seemed to work. Was pleased with the lighting effect
