No, it's a message we've seen before, when ImageMaker and/or XenForo are tweaking the system.
It doesn't seem to stop us from carrying on as we usually do, just ignore it.
OK, this is just a curiosity question. From the code that was displayed, it looks like "XenForo" was trying to log into an external DB and was missing a "certificate" or something and was denied access, so it couldn't bring up the site and just spit out an error message and died. (Displaying code on a failure instead of having an error trap display a harmless message like "sorry, mate, we're drunk at the moment" is a little bit of a security risk, but it wasn't a "core dump", so probably no problem.) So, ImageMaker is using a tool manipulating code from XenForo to build the site, and the data is actually stored elsewhere on a commercial server in a MySQL database (that's why you want thumbnails--you want to transfer as little data as possible on start-up, because it costs money, and only transfer the full pic when someone clicks on it). There was a security upgrade or something similar on the MySQL site, and something needed to be imported into XenForo to restore access? You just needed an update for Xenforo?
I just don't want to have to be concerned that a malevolent presence like the ghost of Christmas Future (the timing was suspicious) is monitoring our activities, waiting to strike. Thanks.

Just keep telling yourself - it's only a dream! it's only a dream! it's only a dream! it's only a dream!:devil-flip:

I got denied access about 2,5 days , wih a blank page and a litany of programming lines, starting with "The server requested authentication method unknown to the client etc…;":icon_pc:

I do not seem to have been the only one with problems to log in.:icon_tfno:
Before,I sometimes had the problem that I had to activate the refresh button, when I wanted to go to a thread.:confundio1:

I am Lucky everything seems to be all right again (thanks, Santa).:xmas2::thumbsup:

I WISH TO PROTEST THIS CAVALIER USE OF MY IMAGE, SOMEHOW SUGGESTING THAT AN INADVERTENT ACCIDENT, WITH PERHAPS A SCYTHE, HAD ANYTHING TO DO WITH A RECENT TEMPORARY OUTAGE OF CF SERVICE. I WAS HAVING COCOA AT THE TIME AND WAS AS PANICKED BAFFLED AS ANYONE ELSE BY THE LACK OF ACCESS.

XenForo is the forum software written in PHP that drives this forum. MySQL is the database it uses which may or may not be hosted on the same server, but as Imagemaker runs other websites too I assume he has some commercial arrangement to host and manage them. The short answer to what happened is that someone updated something, and broke the database authentication so the Forum could not connect to the database. As we know from the history of this site, that's a hell of a lot better than breaking the database itself!

There were three possibilities to me :
1) Barb will have to explain something.:couch:
2) Somehow my personal access is denied due to a mismatch with I do not know what from my side (and hence incurable : bye bye CF):tiburon::sidra_1:
3) I googled some of the programming talk, to arrive on fora from Xenoforo where other site owners testified about the same problem. That gave me hope that it could be fixed.:borra2:

Why am I the first of the three possibilities

You are always foremost in our thoughts.

Nice to read other people's thoughts when the outage happened, I started to imagine I was the only one with a problem (a bit like I'm the only one who has these weird crux thoughts!).

Good to be back in the forum.

Imagine what went through my mind! I was just posting when the thing went blank.:eek::facepalm:
So you were online when the crash took place?

Can we be sure you didn't do something to cause it?

Guilt until proven innocent! (and we shouldn't waste to much effort on the proving innocent part)

009FDF83-2D7F-47C0-81AB-89BDF7F6D243.jpeg I saw nothing! I admit to nothing!

Honestly, I wondered if it was MY fault. I've been uploading gifs at another site, but copying the code for sharing them in the Equine Elegance thread. Since the gifs were uploaded elsewhere, I figured this couldn't be taxing the Crux forum much. But then when I saw things had gone to hell here, I wondered if I had done a major boo boo.

We should remember the inspiration for many BDSM Stories, 17th century Hungarian Countess Elizabeth Báthory

https://www.thevintagenews.com/2018/01/13/serial-killer-countess-elizabeth-bathory/

"As much as Elizabeth was educated in classical studies, able to quickly understand anything said in German, Greek, or Latin, here in the torture chamber, she demonstrated profound knowledge of various torture techniques." Teaching a woman to know many languages clearly causes terrible perversions!

Her coat of arms:
