What a lovely profile.
It may be cool liquid, but what sort? The bloody Romans might give her something totally noxious. Perhaps in her delerious reverie, it will taste like wine at Josephine's party. I suspect it is not a sympathetic passerby, or a rescuer.
I love this sort of illustration. It underlines the total helplessness of the crucified, forced to suck life sustaining liquid from a sponge, like an animal. In this case Jasmine is not even aware of it until it touches her lips, an intimate sensation that must be doubly cruel for her. While guests at the party drink the best wine in town, Jasmine probably has something unspeakable running down her chin and over her breasts; dirty water, guards piss, sour vinegar, no matter she will lap it up with enthusiasm, she is so parched.

She's exhausted and perhaps she will be grateful for anything in the way of refreshment...? As Jolly has already noted, this is a very effective profile view of Jasmine.
The pose is perfect for this scene, and I have just spent a few minutes admiring the detail of the individual strands of hair behind her back, beautifully revealed by the layer masking technique! Great work, Wragg!

Good description, Phlebas. Right, she will drink anything offered to her, because she is so terribly thirsty. Most likely, she will feel the liquid dripping on her breast first, just before the sponge will touch her lips. She will desperately try to grab every drop of it!
The liquid that had been running down over her chin, her throat and her breasts, will soon dry up, leaving behind a sticky, irritating stuff, that will attract more insects.

I appreciate that the original story has changed direction slightly with Cassia's crucifixion, but I wonder what Valerie's motives are for reviving Jasmine at this stage...?
She addresses Jasmine as 'Domina' which implies that she is a surviving slave of a household whose members have all been variously murdered or crucified.
Valerie's future would appear uncertain at best, but I wonder what risks she is taking by attending Jasmine?
These latest manips illustrate a compassionate scene with fine detail and a subtle blending of photo and 3D elements.
I like the alternate high and low viewpoints, reinforcing the character interaction. Great work yet again, Wragg!
Perhaps she feels she has nothing to lose and everything to gain by trying to save Jasmine. And it seems she may have mystical potions from her exotic homeland or something like that to help. Anyway, I am greatly interested to see where Wragg takes us in what is becoming an epic tale. This is a truly ambitious project, and it continues to have my complete admiration.

Well, is she a slave, or isn't she? She's certainly got a mouth on her. I don't suppose that Roman will like being talked to like that by a girl dressed like a slave. I know! She's trying to lure the guards down, for some obscure reason.
Also, I love the Valeria posed in image 2 here. Beautiful work. She's magnificent.
This is a rule you have? Does it work for you? Only, you don't ever seem to stay out of trouble. Perhaps you should try something else?

Valeria maintains her composure, and she makes a nicely composed figure with good hair detail, the addition of appropriate attire and a convincing grip on the pole.
The extent of the work in this picture, including the background treatment is not obvious by any means, and the result is an incidental image with a sense of depth and presence.

Alas, Google translate does not offer a Latin rendering of "fuck off, dickhead". I am confident works have been published to remedy this situation--I recall one being reviewed years ago in the Economist and I have one for Russian--but I don't recall the titles. The vernacular Latin would be much appreciated here.
