I forsee a brutal short life for Valerie's future..

Or did I see it in my timetravels allready??? :D

But Valeria has a reason to be confident...

We have left the original story behind, and we're taking a new direction - leading into the unknown and the unpredictable...
I suspect there may be a few plot twists to negotiate, but the entertainment value remains consistently high! :D

You may be right, but...

...then again, I suspect not. ;) :devil:

A Praetorian Tribune! That suggests that the Divine Caesar himself is interested in whatever is going on in this little part of the Empire. You don't suppose he just heard about Josephine's party, eh? No? I thought not.

I am very much looking forward to the next bits.
Slavegirls!! Fresh popcorn!! :popcorn::popcorn::popcorn::popcorn:

This is all getting to be very exciting now. The Tribune looks like he's all business, and wants to kick some orgying, corrupt magistrate butt. Jasmine need not get too embarrassed - these Romans don't seem to care about her that much. :(

Well done again, Wragg. :thumbsup:

Whatever the Tribune comes for, shall it make a difference for Jasmine and Cassia? Right or wrong, a verdict is a verdict! One of the cornerstones of Roman rule and civilisation, isn't it?

Rule of Law. Lox was known in Roman legal circles for his conservative rulings.

Sounds like the Tribune is interested in something more than a quick friendly chat with the Proconsul, or is that the soon-to-be-ex-Proconsul? Doesn't seem to like Josephine much either. As they say in the Asterix stories, Ceasar really isn't pleased, is he?

Anyway, our good Upianus may be a pillock, but he seems to see which side of the bread has the butter, and the not-long-for-his-job-or-likely-much-of-anything-Proconsul looks a bit like dry toast.

Now, this must be serious stuff, if the Tribune is happy to crucify Roman legionnaires. The almost-erstwhile-Proconsul must have really stuck his foot in it, I fancy.:eek::eek::eek::eek:

This just keeps getting better! :clapping::clapping:
Also, can we get back to whatever Valeria is up to? :very_hot::popcorn::devil:
