A Short Detour From Maleficarum Monxa Mala

AmyInHerKitchen2019.jpg

Amy the Heskinator having a drink after building her kitchen

As Jac rushes to complete the Final Cut of Maleficarum Monxa Mala, new projects are beginning to fall in place. We have many projects in development, some make it out of that limbo when the door opens with real possibilities. Some never do, they linger forever and ever. One such project was Dead But Dreaming, that was originally planned in the 90's long before Red Feline On The Cross, but it could not be produced until 2012! Another project that has been waiting decades is the Series, originally titled Pachamama. It appears that it will be produced now. But there's one project that has been bouncing off the walls in Jac's brain for a couple of years, a dark movie that is specifically thought with Carmen in mind in a very dark and crazy role. But not only her. It has Vero and Amy in it too!

CarmenPaintoux121717.jpg

Carmen ready for a dark performance in France

Pedro Margot wrote: he'll be working on an extremely dark production with Carmen, Veronique... I got extremely MEGA excited!!! Fingers crossed!

Carmen, Vero and Amy were never together in the SAME FILM. Carmen and Vero did many, Amy and Vero were together in many others, but all three together in ONE MOVIE ... that would be MEGA fantastic, yes. But it will not be happening any time soon. The project Jac is developing for them is at least a year away from production. At this point he's writing the script with the three fabulous ladies in mind. He had the idea in his head for a couple of years, maybe more, and while in France last month, he talked to Vero, who said she would be interested, he then talked to Carmen, who said she wasn't interested at all, but a couple of days ago she changed her mind. Jac also talked to Amy and she wants to see a script first. Amy would not be only a leading lady in it, but the producer as well, and her task would be far higher because the film would be shot in her turf.

Last night, after Jac worked on Maleficarum Monxa Mala for a few hours, he suddenly was inspired to write the script and all of a sudden he had 16 pages of it... So, I, too, am crossing my fingers for this one.

yyy @ Reine Margot, is the copy of "Maleficarum" sold on Amazon identical to the movie available on VermeerWorks? I already have a copy from the website, but a good backup would be nice to have.

We have two versions of Maleficarum, the Theatrical Version and the Director's Cut. The Theatrical Version was made for the cinemas and places like Amazon.com. It's cut a bit differently than the Director's cut, which puts more emphasis on the tortures. The theatrical version has more inter-cuts in between the tortures. That's the main difference.

The Final Cut of Maleficarum Monxa Mala is DONE

MaleficarumMonxaMalaTheFilm_00030508.jpg

At 3 24 pm on Sunday, April 14th, Jac finished the Final Cut of Maleficarum Monxa Mala. After the last clip of the last scene in the last sequence was trimmed down, the running time of the film stood at 2 hours 9 minutes and 40 seconds. It is possible that during the setting up of the sound tracks for the final mix, some cutting will happen, a second here, a second there, a trim here, a trim there, so the running time might come down a bit, which is perfectly normal.

MaleficarumMonxaMalaTheFilm_00023629.jpg

The sound work has begun this Monday, April 15th and it should take almost the entire week. it will be followed by the color correction, title, credits and subtitles. If all goes well, by sometime next week the film should be ready to be uploaded to our servers to be set up in the store and elsewhere where we may want to sell it.

The date of the release of the film will be announced next week, when everything is ready. An educated estimate is that Maleficarum Monxa Mala will be out in the world the first week of May.

MaleficarumMonxaMalaTheFilm_00025804.jpg

Our contributors will be getting their codes to download the film as soon as the film is ready at Flickrocket. The DVDs will be shipped as soon as the Master DVD is in the hands of shipping in the US, which is almost at the same time as when the film is at Flickrocket.

It's possible that we will set up the film, in full HD, at Vimeo, where our supporters will be able to watch it in a private channel.

The Last Stretch For Maleficarum Monxa Mala

MMMV2Sc29_0055_00094604.jpg

Jac is in the last stretch for this film. This past week was extremely busy. Two weeks out of the HQ has consequences. The short, relaxing, emotional journey left us with lots of work to do upon our return home. We had to take care of many big and little details, like accounting, and unresolved issues, some dealing with legal and business matters. However, Jac dedicated a lot of time to the editing process, the final cut, and he's advancing well. At least 50 minutes of the film went through their final cut, 2 hours of screen time still ahead to be cut down a bit.

Jac plans to finish cutting down those final two hours during the coming week. If he manages to do the job the way it has to be done, perfectly, all that will be left to do is the sound mix and color correction, both of which take a day or two. Then comes the processing of the clips in their different formats and the uploading to our stores. If all goes according to plan, we'll be releasing the film in two weeks. I don't think we'll be able to do it before that. I expect we'll have a teaser, or trailer very soon.

MMMV2Sc15_9951_00011613.jpg

Meanwhile, we're also busy with our websites, revamping vermeerworks.com because we'll have the theatrical release of Pygmalion in July, and we need to have the site nicely set up. There's a lot of work coming our way in that part of our production work and we must be prepared. Jac will be having talks with Dani and Simone for the possibility of making a couple of 'solo' movies with them, in the style of The Passion of Isabel, where one character will suffer extreme and multiple torture.

Dani already expressed her willingness to be put through a lot more than she had been put through so far. Simone was very happy with the work in Monxa Mala, so, she too might be willing. We'll release Maleficarum Monxa Mala before we get involved in any new productions of course, but Jac is planning the work for the rest of April and May. In June and July we'll be busy with a documentary and the theatrical release of Pygmalion. From August to the end of the year there are some plans already, two feature films, at least and the possible trip to France in November, something exciting will be happening there.

PygmalionPromoWeb2047.jpg

Part of Jac's emotional journey to Europe had to do with Carmen, aka Camille, who underwent surgery the very same day Jac was arriving in Bolivia. All went well. She did not communicate with Jac until today, they had a great chat and he learned, to his relief, that Carmen is doing great, that she's returning to her artistic activities, that what she faced was scary and that she's not yet completely out of the hook, she'll know better in a month, but it looks promising. And she surprised Jac with her willingness to be part of a film we're planning to shoot in the US. Veronique confirmed it too, so, if Jac gets the funds and completes the script, as demanded by Amy, he'll be working on an extremely dark production with Carmen, Veronique and... AMY!

It's Back To Work time now, and we're fully committed to release Maleficarum Monxa Mala this month!

I have purchased all 3 DVDs of the "Seven Days on the Cross" series, starring Gabrielle D'Cleda as Varinia. The quality of the 3rd film is poor with broad white bands rolling up on the screen, compromising enjoyment of a great crux performance. All other Red Feline DVDs play satisfactorily.

I purchased these 3 DVDs (among many others) for delivery by registered post. Other Red Feline productions I purchased for download on line. All purchases were straightforward and satisfactory to me, as a client of RF film sales.

For some years, I have followed "News from Margot" posts here and been waiting keenly for the promised release of the single DVD edition covering this entire torture and crucifixion story. This should overcome the display deficiencies in the 3rd purchased DVD. That single storyline DVD has finally been released (advertised at <http://redfeline.com/2016/12/21/seven-days-on-the-cross/>). This film is ONLY advertised at THAT link. NO other Red Feline link lists that particular film. Not even at the "Watch Our Films at Vimeo" link does this film appear for viewing.

When I attempted to follow any link to purchase this film, I am directed to "Join the Club". Even clicking the seemingly innocuous link "Read more at the Red Feline Club". At that link ("log in to redfeline.com:80"), again I am asked to enter 'User Name' and Password (which would be sent unencrypted apparently). At the joining link <http://vermeerworks.com/join-the-red-feline-club/>, NONE of the "Subscribe" links work.

Are Red Feline clients to understand that to purchase this Red Feline film (and other RF films?), one must now pay a subscription fee to access what should be readily available for purchase, as in any normal commercial tranaction?

Please advise how to address these issues.

What's that sound? - Building The Sound Tracks

MMMV2Sc30_0010_00043321.jpg

Ending the post production of a film can be exciting and frustrating at the same time. The end is so close and yet with every step taken, it appears that the end of the line is farther away. Jac was very busy building the soundtracks for the sound mix while, at the same time, trimming down the scenes.

This stage of the work is, for all practical purposes, DONE. The film is now going through the process of color correction, final mix and preparing the master for the DVDs and HD videos to be uploaded to our servers.

The film went down from 2 hrs 9 min, to 1 hr 39 minutes, it will probably go down a little more by the time Jac is done with the work this weekend. It took a bit longer that planned but it's all for the best, the film is looking and sounding great.

MMMV2Sc14_9917_00032707.jpg

In the other news, Dani is going to be working on a SOLO project, Crux Extrema, which actually might turn into three projects: Cruciati Ad Rotam, Crucio Torqueo and Crux Extrema.

Jac also had a nice conversation with Simone who, after telling him how much she loved to work on the film, she mention that she would be willing to work on a few SOLO projects as well. Jac's brain is busy coming up with nasty concepts to work with the star of Maleficarum Monxa Mala

I can see a few films coming out with Dani, Simone and Mila. All of them this year.

Seven Days On The Cross is a 4 disc series. All four are in our DVDs and DOWNLOAD stores. The problem you mention on the 3rd film might be a bad duplication of the DVD. I'll check the master to see if the problem is there, which means we would need to re-master it.

I announced before that we were going to be releasing the film version of the Seven Days On The Cross series, which will include a final stage of the crucifixion which was never released. The film is ready but it hasn't been mastered for release yet. There are some technical issues to be resolved and to be honest, our rate of productions and releases have been very high the last few years. It's been very difficult to find the time to work on it. Seven Days On The Cross was produced in the times of analog video and the idea is to release it in high definition digital video. It takes a bit of work, but it will look very nice.

Hello Margot (and RF staff/stars et al),

Can you provide an approximate time for release of the single story line DVD of the edited "Seven Days on the Cross", please.

While your responses acknowledge continuing production activity at Red Feline/Pachamama Films etc., the ambiguity/silence surrounding the group's anticipated end of production and release dates for purchase of DVDs/downloads is most frustrating. The intricacies of production demands and timing schedules will be alien to those of us not versed in a similar situation. Some feedback will help us to comprehend somewhat the pressures that you may be experiencing.

To illustrate the views of other 'cruxforums' members who have experienced similar issues of potential disenchantment, the site <http://www.cruxforums.com/xf/threads/red-feline.32/> is worth visiting. It is noteworthy that the posted comments at that link are dated between 2005 and 2014. RF et al really should attempt to address these (seemingly) persistent issues, to the benefit of RF/PF stars and staff, and of course your devoted fans.

On a personal note, all responses that Margot has addressed to me (as a purchaser of RF DVDs etc.) have been most effective in resolving the issue at hand and she has been most courteous and accommodating at all times.

Maleficarum Monxa Mala The Film Is Here!

MMMPosterByAmy.jpg

What the world has been waiting for has finally arrived! The new film by Jac Avila, Maleficarum Monxa Mala

I will be talking a lot about this new film in the coming days!

I'm sending out the codes for the early buyers and supporters and the DVDs will be on their way as soon as the film is set up in our shipping system.

Synopsis

The Inquisition has been suspended. Father Agustinus, takes over the abandoned dungeons, with the monetary support from a wealthy Marquise, to keep the place functioning for the penance of those nuns who stray from the path of holiness.

Leticia, the Marquise's daughter, is sent to these horrid place to be set right and pay for her transgressions. Her sin, she organised a pagan feast at the Monastery where she was forced to enter by her mother.

Leticia defies the monk, who proclaims that he's not a weak man or a slave to the flesh, but he allows himself to be tempted by those who fall under his care and rule, living his pleasures and excesses in the realm of the Holy Inquisition dungeons.
When one of the novices whispers to Agustinus that she might be carrying inside something of his, the monk perceives that as a sign that his novices are keeping secrets from him; thus, they all must pay.

Agustinus will use all the inquisition instruments he has at his disposal to punish them and cast out the demons that have broken the peace of his Holy Office.

I wish to formulate to you and to Mr Avila the Director/Producer of 'Maleficarum Monxa Mala' my warmest wishes for a great success!!
Since your very start, years ago, I always have kept an interested eye on your work and the phases of its development: so this comes from the heart.

Maleficarum Monxa Mala Is Going Very Far!

MaleficarumMonxaMalaTheFilm_00034501.jpg

The new film by Jac Avila, the director of such classics as Maleficarum, Justine and Red Feline on the Cross, to name but just a very few, is going places without even a push. Before I made the official announcement that the film was out, it was already selling.

Amy finished setting up the film at Flickrocket for downloads Sunday night, her time, and hardly an hour had passed that someone had already purchased a copy. By the time I got up on Monday to prepare the announcement of the good news, Jac told me that the film was already selling. In three days Maleficarum Monxa Mala sold more than Justine all this year, in less than a week Monxa Mala was on its way to pass Mila A La Croix our most recent new title and the reigning best seller for the past few months.

This coming Monday, the 27th, it will be the first week since the release of the Maleficarum Monxa Mala and I'm very happy with how the film is reaching out to the four corners of the planet.... which is not flat, by the way.

MaleficarumMonxaMalaTheFilm_00043323.jpg

I don't have any reviews or opinions that I can share, not yet, except a nice comment that appeared at a forum saying:

hammers I wish to formulate to you and to Mr Avila the Director/Producer of 'Maleficarum Monxa Mala' my warmest wishes for a great success!! Since your very start, years ago, I always have kept an interested eye on your work and the phases of its development: so this comes from the heart.

In Red Feline on the Cross, one woman, our amazing Camille, suffers untold torture. In Maleficarum there are two beautiful ladies, Amy and Mila, suffering the wrath of the holy inquisition, in Justine there are THREE gorgeous and sexy damsels, Amy, Mila and Bea under the sadistic designs of Rodin. In Maleficarum Monxa Mala there are SIX novices, Simonne, Mila, Dani, Stephanie, Graciela and Ines going through the worst tortures the mad monk, ruler of the dungeons of the inquisition, can bring upon them.

Perhaps because of the history of our production company and the fame of the films that are released with the such frequency, there was no need to convince our fans with a trailer, although one might pop up any time now. It is obvious to me that people were waiting for this release and could not wait to get it and they are doing it right now, as I type these words.

NoTrailerForTerminatorEither.jpg

I expect that most people will love this film, some people may not love it so much, some might even hate it, it happens to all films. 800,000 people wanted HBO to remake the last season of GOT.

The film is out there, and people all over the world are watching it.

Leticia Faces The Mad Monk

MaleficarumMonxaMalaTheFilm_00050205.jpg

Maleficarum Monxa Mala opens with Barbara confiding to Martina: "it's been more than a month since..." Martina is not surprised, there are no secrets for her in the confined world they inhabit, the dungeons of the old Holy Office better known as the Inquisition. Martina warns Barbara to keep her secret and tells her that she can help her with 'that problem'.

Then Leticia enters the film. She is dragged to the dungeon, stripped to the waist, her wrists tied together, yanked up above her head and attached to a wooden post. She's put there there to atone for organizing a paga feast at her monastery and other transgressions. Agustinus, the Monk, sits across her with two novices, one at each side, kneeling next to him: Barbara, the monk's favorite, and Julia, Leticia's friend, who took part of the pagan feast. Julia awaits her turn to face punishment.

MaleficarumMonxaMalaTheFilm_00045103.jpg

Lucrecia, the enforcer, is behind Leticia, whip in hand. She's in charge of flogging the rebellious novice without mercy while Agustinus justifies such harsh treatment. As the lashes fall on her back, Leticia does not submit humbly to her punishment, she defies and contradicts the Monk and with each sentence she utters, her chastising increases.

MaleficarumMonxaMalaTheFilm_00065904.jpg

Leticia's punishment is just the beginning. Her defiance breaks the peace of the Holy Office and pushes Agustinus over the edge, an edge where the self imposed limits, which are few, are broken and there's nothing to stop him from imposing hell on his novices.

Maleficarum Monxa Mala is a film that begins with torture and it does not stop until the very cruel and dramatic end. One after the other, the novices fall out from the Mad Monk's grace, and each faces the terrible torments of the inquisition.

Maleficarum Monxa Mala
An Intense Film Not For The Faint of Heart

MaleficarumMonxaMalaTheFilm_00314920.jpg

Maleficarum Monxa Mala passed in sales our most recent release, Mila À La Croix, becoming the sure best seller of the month, and probably the rest of the year. In less than two weeks, the new film made more than Mila À La Croix did the entire year. That is a success story, as far as I'm concerned. The film has some images that, in the words of Ralphus, of GIMP fame, are unpleasant.

When Jac was editing the film he had a very hard time cutting those scenes. At one point he was considering removing the scene altogether, but he decided that it was critical to the story and it should be there, after all, it is the moment when the Mad Monk begins a descent to hell. Even the actress, Dani, who is the one suffering those unpleasantnesses in the scene those images come from, was impacted by them when she got to see them, this past weekend, when the cast of the film got together to watch the film.

MMMScreeningParty.jpg

The screening party was an event in itself. A great time for all where good rum run freely and where there were only the mean priest and 5 of his novices at hand to watch the film and celebrate their accomplishment. One of them missed the show, because of personal reasons.

There were laughs, jokes, admiring comments about each other's acting talents and beautiful naked or almost naked bodies. At the start of the event, each voiced their opinion and the one that captured the feeling was the leading lady of the film, Simonne, who said "we must do this again and again!" Jac was happy to tell them that the film was going places and that they will soon be getting some good cash. Not that they had any doubts, but they were expecting to hear that too during that evening.</p>

I received a comment in my inbox at the CruxForums:

Hi Margot! I saw all the film. I can call it "orgy of bloody whippings". Very intense production. Of course there are many fake whipping but erotism and cruelty compensate it all. I'll write more on the public forum about your plot. But I have two questions: 1. Will this film have English subtitles, cause Spanish is very nice but I don't know this language. And I want to know the main plot of this film, why the girls are punished and tortured. 2. What is the name of the girl which is crucified at the end with Mila? She is very pretty and looks beautiful on the cross.

The comment about the subtitles was not what I wanted to hear.

We had one previous comment about that and we worked to solve that glitch. Anyone who had problems with the subtitles, needs to download the film again. If the problem persists or if there's a problem downloading it again, just let me know. </p>

The other part of the comment discusses Dani, who is the one crucified with Mila. She's shooting a solo film with Jac, which goes by the tentative title of Crux Extrema. I'll have news about that soon.

Simonne, who said "we must do this again and again!"
Bless her, it's so lovely to hear that, to know the girls really enjoyed the excitement of making the film -
I can certainly believe it, though I know a lot of people wouldn't understand at all.

Crux extrema, that sounds very interesting!

Mila's Transformation
From Perfect Victim To The Perfect Enforcer

MaleficarumMonxaMalaTheFilm_00033200.jpg

Mila was tortured in Maleficarum, tortured and crucified in Le Marquis De La Croix, crucified in Dead But Dreaming, strangled in Barbazul, had some good fun in Olalla where she played s&m games with her vampire uncle, she was spanked in Pygmalion, tortured and crucified again in Mila À La Croix, tortured, whipped and crucified in Justine ... not to mention her bloodless suffering in the Via Crucis of Mila, where she's whipped and crucified sans nails.

In Maleficarum Monxa Mala she plays Lucrecia the Enforcer, she is in charge of a lot of the torturing and whipping in the film. She lashes and tortures Leticia for almost the entire length of the film, taking breaks only to torture someone else. She's involved in torturing Barbara, Martina and Justa. She delights in whipping Barbara on the wheel.

MaleficarumMonxaMalaTheFilm_00371902.jpg

Lucrecia is the perfect enforcer, she shows no pity, not at all. She's faithful and does not question the Mad Monk's commands, she just follows them. He doesn't even have to tell her what he wants. She knows exactly what he wants and expects. She's faithful to him to death.

Leticia dominates the film, from beginning to end. She loved the role so much, that she wants to repeat the experience.

Eulalia commented at the CruxForum:

They all enjoyed making the film, some more than others, they all gave their best and made the film possible.

Barbara, The Hyper Sensual Favorite
Who Wants To Be The Cruel Enforcer

MaleficarumMonxaMalaTheFilm_00104928.jpg

At the beginning of the film, Barbara confides in Martina a possible ordeal she faces. “It's been more than a month since...”

The overtly sensual Barbara is known as the Mad Monk's favorite and she's confident that she has his heart in her hands and that given her suspected condition, she might have more influence and power over him than anyone in the cold and dark dungeon they inhabit. However...

MaleficarumMonxaMalaTheFilm_00034113.jpg

Barbara has the intention of telling Agustinus that she might be carrying something of his inside. Will he be pleased? Will he feel that she is his forever? Martina's words cast a dark shadow in her mind “You're not the first and you wont be the last…”

For Dani, who plays Barbara, the role was deliciously difficult. She has to be both, sweet and vicious and she has a few hot scenes before things bad for her.

Before telling her secret, she requests to be the enforcer, claiming that she will be more efficient and cruel than Lucrecia. She gets the chance to be The Enforcer, although temporarily, and she has Julia, who decided to compete with her for the favors of the Monk, under her whip. She even gets the chance to whip Lucrecia herself.

MaleficarumMonxaMalaTheFilm_00180011.jpg

Barbara's destiny in the film is to spend most of her time on The Wheel, where she is tortured, whipped and whipped again, with intervals of course, Lucrecia and the Mad Monk had others to torture and make her wait for more harsh treatment.

Dani loved the wheel and the wheel loves her, so she is spending a lot of her time these days, being tortured on the wheel for another film, Crux Extrema. More about that later.
