Alice Kiss - Crux Legend

'Pornography Reviews' concluded their objective appraisal of Rylsky's site, expressing some disappointment about the small number of videos available:-

'Videos are clearly not a priority for the director/producer, who is instead focusing almost entirely on still photos. Photography fans will be very pleased with what they find here: charming softcore erotica with equal attention paid to genitalia and faces, contorted bodies and casual relaxation. The occasional lesbian encounter has been documented and everything looks good – no, more than good; great! – in very high-res images and HD videos. Rylsky-Art is not substantially different from other Met-Art Network sites.'

The work of a good photographer does not always translate smoothly into moving images, and Rylsky is no doubt aware of his own skills and limitations. Similar criticisms have been made regarding videos by other highly regarded photographers, including Valery Anzilov (who recorded Alice in both media.)

More from Rylsky's first session featuring Alice -

Maha Shiva's latest submission on DeviantArt is a photo manipulation featuring Alice in the kind of contemporary crux scene which has become a speciality of his. The picture, 'Alice meets the Mob', which employs a dynamic pose from Makar's 'Crux Forrest' shoot, was published earlier today, 17 June 2017. Consistently the only Makar model appearing in Shiva's manips to date, this is her third appearance in his gallery. Confirming her enduring popularity with manipulation artists, he observed, 'Alice is an addiction that is hard to fight off, even if one wants to!'

Shiva began the picture two days prior to submission and kindly allowed me a preview of the unfinished concept, which then had the working title of, 'Street Rally 2'. The title was subsequently changed to acknowledge the identity of the subject. At this stage he adopted some detail suggestions concerning the cross and ropes, but remained dissatisfied with the overall impression, explaining,

'I still have a little bit of fine-tuning to do. One thing I'm not very satisfied with is that the background contents and the villain I added to torment poor Alice look a little too sharp in image quality in comparison to the photo of Alice, and I'd like to see if I can make them blend better. Fortunately, the background photo is a very high-quality shot and has a lot of clarity to spare. So, I think a slight blurring of the background images should do the trick.'

Following this proposal in his quest for perfection, Shiva re-blended the components in Photoshop to adjust the depth of field, producing an overall visual consistency. Very soon he had the image ready for submission, confirming,

'Yeah, I did tweak it a little more--selected everything in the background and blurred it a little; I think it matches better now. An Alice pic is always worth the effort--the cutie pie gave the performance of her modelling career that afternoon on Makar's makeshift cross. Can't believe it's a whole decade already!'

This thread now contains some 72 photo manipulations featuring Alice, and there are still more to come. The majority are crux art, for which Makar's images provide excellent sources. Rylsky produced 17 published photo series of Alice, Vadim Rigin photographed another 11 and Alexey Bessarab produced a further 3 - collectively hundreds of pictures of Alice. So far, none of those series has yielded a single picture for a manipulation in this thread.

To date we have looked at six manips employing images of Alice photographed by Valery Anzilov, three using a single image by Alexander Lobanov and one using a portrait by Peter Chupurov. Meanwhile, we have seen 62 crux manipulations (86% of the manips in this thread) using pictures of Alice by Makar, indicating that her high profile is derived almost entirely from his vision of crux photography. The delightful persistence of Alice in crux art ensures that she is better known to us for a single Cruxdreams shoot ten years ago than for anything else in her entire modelling career.

Today marks the tenth anniversary of the filming of 'Alice and Koshka in the Crux Forrest'. 20 June 2007 was a day on which a remarkable photo shoot produced the pictures which have continued to thrill us in their original form and in countless manipulations ever since. I am confident that they will continue to do so in the future. I can claim no personal credit for the tribute, entitled 'Crux Dreams' (#1) since it is a montage entirely composed of Makar's photographs. The 'Crux Forrest' was his vision.

As a photographer, Makar loved monochrome and especially sepiatone. Had he made a 'Crux Forrest' montage, it would probably look more like #2, which is derived from the composite background to the first picture. This shows some highlights from the photo shoot, including Makar's iconic portrait of Alice, 'Why Me? - 2' at lower right.

The picture of Alice at #3 is derived from her thumbnail in the Cruxdreams Models List. Alice takes her place on the list having worked a single session on 20 June 2007. I believe it is likely that Makar took this picture the same day. It has a simple snapshot quality, as if it was taken just before or after the photo shoot. I have enlarged the low resolution thumbnail and re-coloured and blended it manually, using the smudge and blur tools, through seven layers in Photoshop.

The montage variations at #4 and #5 obviously use well-known Makar portraits in the background. The foreground portrait of Alice is derived from one taken by Valery Anzilov in May 2007 on Mount Koshka (Cat Mountain) a short distance south west of the Ay Petri plateau in the Crimea, just a few short weeks before her 'Crux Forrest' experience. Little did she know that she would soon be meeting another Koshka with whom she would achieve lasting fame.

I have given my picture (#4, #5) the title, 'Why Me? - 3' to acknowledge the inclusion of Makar's 'Why Me? - 2', and because I just love the enquiring look in her eyes.

Those are gorgeous large images.
I always find myself just gazing at one photograph, not always the same one, but Alice is so small and vulnerable looking and yet so vigorous and expressive on the cross. That comes across in the still photographs, almost better as a suggestion of movement than in the video (which I had not seen until now). In some ways, that combination of characteristics makes Alice the ideal crux girl - certainly that aura of youth, innocence, and vigour being spent on a cross makes for a very erotic and sensual image.:):very_hot:
