I totally agree.

Please do not misunderstand me. I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings, even I have been told to get out.
I just see so many times that the reality of beautiful pieces of art are ruined with fantasy-style elements.

The best examples are the video games: If you want to play a historically accurate medieval game, you have to chose between 2 or 3. If you want to try a fantasy-medieval one with magic, then you just need to leap into the sea of those...

Are elf-ears really such a bad fantasy element, that they completely ruin an otherwise perfect picture for you? I can understand your point, since I personally dislike e.g. the green skin of an orc or furry-stuff but elf-ears are more like a minor detail for me, the same as e.g. succubus-horns or similar.

At least for me, fantasy can also be realistic and authentic in it's own way. Not everything of course, but take e.g. "A Song of Ice and Fire"/"Game of Thrones" (aside from the ending) which represents a very realistic middle-age scenario with just a bit of fantasy sprinkled into it. And don't get me wrong, there is a lot of crappy fantasy out there, especially a lot of the erotic stuff, but there is also a lot of amazing fantasy. For crucifixion just take Skatingjesus Andaroos Chronicles (which are fantasy since his kingdoms are not historic, at least to my knowledge).

And if you really dislike any kind of minor fantasy element that much, then ignore it. In this threads alone there are around 100 images by Bartnel all featuring humans (with some demonic executioners). Would it really be so bad if Barnel made one rendering with an elf?
 
IF you dont like what the artist makes, why dont you sharte some self made stuff without the offending thingies.

You could suggest change, but unless you payed an artist to make something, demanding change?
Maybe thank the artist for all the nice things he made and shared for free?

I tend to favour ancient Roman crucifixion over more modern stories, because real nasty stuff happening to real people makes me uncomfortable. Many contributors to this site feel differently, and good for them. I just read the stuff I am interested in, and ignore the threads that don't appeal.

Now how about a mass furry catgirl crucifixion with an authentic Roman setting?

Váhelyi, I prefer human female crucifixions set in Ancient Rome about a century or so on either side of the year 1. I also can’t for the life of me get my head around what’s in it for Furries. Nevertheless one of the most screamingly erotic crux pictures I’ve ever laid eyes on may be seen here. :eeek::very_hot:

I, for one, always appreciate whatever you share with us, since your expertise is clearly professional level. I just wish you were able to make a few more $$ from your efforts, since you deserve it for your skillful renders.

Ignore the comments from what my Dad used to call the "Nickel Bleachers" when I was a youngster playing football. "They only paid a nickel for their seats, and their opinion is worth what they paid!"
