Hair catching fire is realistic, in a blaze like that -
hair burns quickly and easily, and would if she's lucky speed up her death
(St. Eulalia is said to have shaken her long locks into the flames when she felt ready to die)
I like this one by Dashinvane a lot, clever use of muted colours contrasting the girl's fiery red hair,
sensitive contrast between her body-language and her judges and executioner, very powerful image!
