Perfect. I could get hold of photos of a friend of mine. He has also written a memoir with his fantasies about. Syndactyly is not for everyone! Could really be more shameful for those who must suffer the crucifixion.

Dear Melissa, I appreciate your request for members sans avatars to adopt one. For a long time, I tried to work out how to do it - to better follow the fine example of others in this august forum. I clicked the forum links set out here in (to me,) a logical sequence but without success. Enlightened by a belated 'brain wave', I opened a suitable jpeg on my iMac, copied the image and quit the 'Preview' application. When I pasted the clipboard into the vacant avatar receptor space here, I realised I had not followed the recommended proportions ratio suggested. I reopened the image I'd chosen, copied it using the appropriate ratio and returned to paste the avatar image here to suit, in the process, giving my 'wandering monk' persona a hell of a pedicure - all the way up to the knees! Hope this may help any members struggling on the seemingly ambivalent path I tried follow.
P.S. I thank you, Melissa for your kind response to my query about 'A.D. 70 The price of Rebellion'. I didn't know how to read and reply to messages within this forum and so, consequently, I may not have thanked you previously. Mea Culpa.
