As it so happens, I just finished another picture. I think the interaction with the bystander works somewhat better here. I am actually not quite clear about the interaction myself. Is our aristocratic spectator painfully pinching the other girls's clit, or just checking if dancing on the crux makes her wet..?

(btw, the left thump is not mis-posed, but speaks of the deep physiological insight my research into crucification has yielded)

I can’t decide whether your faces are unique or evocative, and then consider these are not mutually exclusive things.

The first one has passed the first boiling assault of agony, and has arrived a stage of tearful resignation.

The latter's leer of gloating triumph makes me wonder if she’ll soon hang naked and screaming on a cross in her turn.

I can only restate what has been obvious for some time, HOT F-WORD STUFF!!! :babeando: :very_hot::clapping:

I should have acknowledged this when I posted the image: the black girl is actually a custom character made by none other than @mp5stab. I have seen the template, and I am amazed how close the sculpted version approximates reality. So in this case, it is decided: the face is unique.

That is not entirely unlikely.

A self portrait, Emily?

That is not entirely unlikely.

I think that would be a wonderful outcome. She has a lot of character, and from what is peaking through her outfit a lot of other good qualities too, which would be well exhibited on the cross.

For your consideration, some suggested positions, and yes, I’ve become quite tiresome pushing this hackneyed pornographic pose on actual artists.

(interestingly, I am also not sure which one of the two I drool over more)

I ESPECIALLY like this one!

Good to see equality in action!!

Everyone had to come up with new words to describe your awesome awesomeness...

And that is indeed the challenge. So let me tell you quite frankly: Dazza, your awesome awesomeness is simply awesome. There is noone quite like you in the whole universe. People should tell you every day that the world would be a much more dull place without you. Who would make the kind of art that you make, there is nobody but you and your beautiful muse.

Seriously, I think you have a pretty effective way of posing multiple figures and bringing them together in a single scene without the inherent issue of making the image look ridiculous.

I would just like to thank @jucundus again for this wonderful piece, since it got moved to the other thread:
Now that is good. And whilst I'm not keen on the yoga pose, as I'm not a crucifixion fan, like.

Tell me Jucundus - I presuming the nails are "home made", the whip marks and blood are Ps afterwork?
Though what of that beautiful desert backdrop? Is that an HRDI, or what is it?
I really can't work that out, what's with the DOF on the ground (don't like, if I'm honest). Though what of those lovely hills?

It's something only Jucundus can answer for certain, but I think it's most likely to be an HDRI background. The reason is, properly lighting an outdoor scene without an HDRI is a very difficult task and there's little reason not using it as long as the tool supports it.

Indeed, I've not seen this particular HRDI though. And my deserts are crap. Though I only have the bog standard Daz desert.
I really wanted to use a desert for this story, take the girls along in a pick up truck. that sort of thing, but gave up after 3 weeks, just couldn't get the lighting right.
Ended up using an ancient "cyclorama"

Nice scene :)

Have you tried HDRI Haven? I just searched "sand" on their website and got a few results: https://hdrihaven.com/hdris/?o=popular&c=all&a=all&s=sand

Maybe you already know it, but there's another trick you can use in case you can't find the exact HDRI you want. I'm not sure if Daz supports this, but such tools like Blender lets you use an HDRI as a light source without being visible. It means that you can just put arbitrary non-HDRI image as a backdrop and it can look good as long as it has comparable lighting condition as the HDRI being used.

Dad does support it, under the “environment” tab in render settings. And I’m sure jucundus knows about hdri Haven
I would've been lovely if my dad had supported me doing 3d art as a hobby :p

P.S.: The reference to HDRI Haven was for Dazza, by the way... and no wonder we got all confused as we are now talking about Daz, Dazza, and our dads :)

Oh right yeah - HRDI haven, yeah I've used it.

And yes it also confused me, my HRDI technology isn't that good. Last time I tried that, everything was out of scale, or in some other ways wonky. (Back to "Park A" :( ). If you are aware of how I might improve my performance, with their offerings, I would be most obliged if you let me know?

As for how the settings for the dome lighting work, in Daz -> Render Settings> Environment > Draw Dome = OFF. Which also has the great effect of just about doubling your render speed.
A big deal in Daz using Iray. Though not so much for you. Whilst I have not seen your work, I take it you use the "Cycles" Render engine in Blender. Which struck me as very good having slaved away over You-Tube videos, on the subject, for about 3 days. To little effect I might add.

Sorry but it's been a long time since the last time I used Daz Studio, so I'm afraid I can't say much about the matter. I believe there could be more knowlegeable people in the forum, including Jucundus.

As to Blender, yes I'm relying on its Cycles engine to render my scenes and I replied to your post in another thread regarding the matter :)
