Nevertheless, her pain-driven panic forced her to try:

"MAKE HIM STOP! PLEEEEASE!! MAKE HIM STOP!! IT HURTS SO MUCH!!"

Hercules completely ignored her. So did Antius. The mallet rose and fell relentlessly.
