Just purchased my first two clips with great anticipation.
Agreed, electricity is extremely painful, but so too is BRANDING, which leaves a mark that lasts FOREVER!
Could you perhaps occasionally add branding with hot irons to your torturer's repertoire?
Theatrically 'burning' the breasts and belly, labia and armpits, vagina and anus with a perforated pipe filled with 'smoking' dry ice would truly be a splendid spectacle, yes?
Followed by the portrayal of gruesome burn wounds that the victim must suffer until her execution, yes?
Mmmm, did you know that sizzling mammary fat impaled by a hot iron rod sounds and smells like bacon frying in a cast-iron pan?

In the Ariel Dorfman play/ film 'Death and the Maiden', Paulina, the woman who'd been tortured in the time of dictatorship, confirms that the man she's recognised as the doctor who was present when he lets slip the detail that they didn't use rope for tying, they used wire. I suspect that's based on fact.
