I run the risk of turning this into an "All Makar, All The Time" thread, but one of his latest updates didn't just catch my attention, it damn near nailed it down.

This is Alexandra. You will note she's not just 'hanging low,' she's sitting on her heels.

This posture may have a historical basis. The crucifixion field outside the walls of Rome was called the Sessorium, literally, "the sitting room." That term has to be a literal description of what people back then saw.

Further, with the torso resting on the victim's heels, the weight of the body would have been taken off the arms, and therefore staved off asphixiation and prolonged the victim's agony.

Whatever. Alexandra looks unambiguously and unbelievably HOT.

Enjoy, people .

Update 4/4/08. I finally got around to restoring what I think are the Alexandra pics that got wiped last November. Enjoy.

Thanks!

Alexandra + cross = healthy prostate.
Healthy prostate - Viagra = $$$
I wouldn't dare quibble over it being indoors, probably good reasons for it, besides an overactive and unhealthy imagination can generally overcome such insignificant matters.

Thanks Makar and dittos Apostate!

I am not alone in getting the screaming hots off of a lady sitting on her heels on a cross.

Anybody else? And would you care to analyze why?

I don't know if he's going to be a favorite artist or not.

Drahreg has posted but two crux pics on Renderotica, neither of which are quite my cup of tea. But this one is more than a bit breathtaking. The artist sure as heck knows how to use Poser, and I find the lady's twisted posture and amazonian physique intensely erotic.

Hope Drahreg continues in this vein. Lots.
:)

I agree completely Apostate, this is probably the hottest Poser Pix I have ever seen and as you might know I've done a few myself.
Best regards to all,
Helmut

Helmut, it's way the heck past time to correct an omission on this thread.

You're one of that first group of crux artists I encountered when I got into this kink, coming up on four years ago.

For a long time I considered your work too stiff, too plastic for my tastes. Over time it's grown on me. It's pioneering Poser crux art, the Giotto to Jedakk's Michelangelo.

I've attached a recent render of yours, in which the the setting and the victim's posture appeal directly to my personal perversions.

The luckless ladies in the older pic bear a strong resemblance to characters in one of my non-crux, guiltless pleasures, an American television show called "The Gilmore Girls."

Thanks, Helmut. Lots.

(Update, 5/15/07. the Gilmore Girls' last show was tonight. Rory got a job as a journalist following the campaign of Barack Obama. In February, 2009, she and her mother Lorelai will be arrested by Blackwater Security, transported to an undisclosed location, and crucified. Helmut, your prescience is an example for us all.).

(Update 7/3/09. Helmut came up with another Gilmore Girls render, wherein he and I personally witness their crucifixions. Mind you, I never thirsted for their deaths, but I really, really wanted to see them both naked. ;-)

"A sin of commission."

I took up DeMullotto's offer to make a custom crux pic. This one keys in exactly to my minimalist first century C.E. imagination, a young woman writhing out her final hours or days nailed butt naked to a cross--and passersby so jaded with the sight they pay her no attention at all.

Thanks, and well done D.

Last of the Pirates. . . IN COLOR!!!

And in Poser too!

Yusebby has been one of my favorite artists for years, Jastrow for just the last few months. And the notion emerged from my twisted brain to suggest Jastrow try a Poser version of one of Yusebby's classic drawings, Last of the Pirates. The result is below, along with the original.

Enjoy, folks. I am.

Re: Favorate Authors

Sheer genius! Combine the talents of Yusebby and Jastrow! The result is sheer beauty! Thanks to all three of you.

Ah yes. English-speaking seagulls with excellent targetting
(only hitting English-speaking Amazonian Vikings(?) executed by Romans(?)
and not, say, the rocks underneath) is indeed much more consistent. :)

Leigh Heppell

He's not a crux artist. "Madonna" barely qualifies as crux.

But the guy's good, if way the hell out of my price range.

http://www.exotic.co.uk/quick_tour_3.html

Examine these attachments, and tell me, if you had thousands of $ or € or £ to spend as you saw fit, you would not commission a crux sculpture from this guy?

He'd do it, you know.

I've been pronouncing his vowel-less handle in my head as "Finn hisser."

He probably pronounces it "Smith."

No matter. He came up with two preliminary renders recently, trying for a new look:

" I have some changes of style in mind: I used to pose my perfectly attractive victims quite statuesque. The style of my pics are comparable with C.D. Friedrich's romantic paintings of lonely people in front of great nature. My crucified girls seemed to be rather lost in reverie than in agony. It's time to give the reality more room. I want to show how the victims' bodies break under their pain. My victims shall lack of perfect bodies like Barbie's plastic. Instead i want to give them more individuality and little "defects" in detail."

I say, "Go FOR it, guy!!!"

NV/Quoom.

Quoom's back in the crux racket, and words have scant power to express how glad I am. These are from a series that's kicking off on his site

http://www.quoom.com

that are inspired by the drawings of Noble Vulchur.

Anybody following this thread knows that I'm into realism. Accordingly, I have died and gone to Heaven. ;-)

Enjoy.

The Original

It occurred to me that some viewing this thread may be unfamliar with the orginal Noble Vulchur drawing upon which the new Quoom series is based.

Voilà.

An older WelshWebb drawing. He told me it's nothing special. I replied it bypasses my cerebral cortex and directly zaps my limbic system.

He said, "Uh. . . right. . . "

The floor is open to discussion.

More from Jastrow, inspired by Yusebby.

I'm fond of Yusebby's luckless young woman. Jastrow has morphed her into a far more wretched situation, as if being nailed to a cross wasn't bad enough. Further, for me there's and extra frisson of eroticism when victim and tormentor are on eye level with each other.

In any case, both pics appeal to our kink. Enjoy.

Update, 2/9/08. I finally recalled which pics were posted here. My abject apology to Yusebby further down the page jogged my memory.

Iethianlay.

I have not encountered the name before, but if he or she is a first timer this is an extraodinary debut.

The artist took a figure named Sonia (Red Sonja?) and crucified her, teaching her a lesson she'll not soon forget, akin to what Quoom did to Tarathalia, aka Flavia.

I like the result. Lots. More on Foundation, in the thread "She Can Dance."

(Iethianlay has numbered these renders up to 222; perhaps folks should urge the artist share more of them Get cracking, folks.)

Restored 11/27/07

More Jastrow, based on a bastardized Yusebby that I posted.

This is the way of it. There was the original Yusebby drawing, and I liked the figure on the right. She seemed to have a measure of defiance left in spite of her agony and humiliation.

I like defiance.

So I cut and pasted a jpeg of her alone, and at some point posted it on Foundation. Jastrow saw it and thought it was the original.

Once more, I APOLOGIZE TO YUSEBBY FOR POSTING AN ALTERED PIC OF HIS WITHOUT HIS PERMISSION.

Nevertheless, the resulting adaptation by Jastrow is, well, *HOT*.

Discuss.

And enjoy.

Cruxgirl666.

Anybody hanging out here or on the Foundation has seen her stuff, and knows about her web site

http://www.queenofsuspension.com

Full disclosure: I'm not a huge fan. Contemporary bondage just isn't my thing. But she has come up with some major crux erotica, even if I do have to mentally edit out the cuffs and chains.

Her latest series is a good example of this. The model was born for a cross, her pose is almost Makarlike, and contemporary setting or no these pics are a major turn-on.

Very, very well done, Cruxgirl. Thanks.

Update 11/27/07. I'm not going to try to restore my Cruxgirl666 posts. They are available on CruxFoundation and her own site. Mind you, they're hot.

"By the Road" is another Yusebby adaptation by Jastrow, this time of the entire original drawing rather than the altered one I posted.

I rather like the result. Lots. For the simple and ignoble reason that the girl on the left is prettier than the one in Yusebby's drawing.

But as somebody on Foudation pointed out, you can almost smell the sweat and blood in the original, which may be found on the previous page of this thread.

Which do you guys prefer?

Update 2/9/08. I've restored these pics. And the question stands
;-)
