Friday crux

I like numbers 1-3. There are stories here, stories of how each couple came to be here. There are also nice little details, like the position of her head in #2 and #3. The first one looks like the easiest to manage, the second the most awkward

I stumbled across that sculpture of Christa by Edwina Sandys today. It has quite a story, originally installed at St John The Divine cathedral in New York in 1984, removed after much controversy, and returned in 2016. Interesting.

It led me to look up a few pictures of the sculpture. I used one in a manip for the Gnostic story Barb and I wrote a few years ago.

and quite by chance I found something surprising to me. There are lots and lots and lots of women out there by the name of Christa! Is this an American thing? I was astounded. All these women, who knows what desires and fantasies they have related to their names!

Pp doesn’t know much about these Christas phlebas but He reckons Christa Lang was certainly worth a second look when she was younger.
