Help The Forum

Go to CruxDreams.com
But this is not enough to pay the hosting bill in September.
It would be helpful to many of us who have helped in the past if you could specify how much is needed in dollars, Euros, rubles or the currency of your choice. I don't see why this has to be a secret. When you are fundraising, transparency is always wise.

Also, it would be nice to know why since April there are constant appeals and when or if this is expected to end. Thank you.

There is no secret.
Depending on the load on the server, $ 300-350 are required every month. In the past, I funded the forum through sales at http://www.cruxdreams.com. But the site was down for several months, so I turned to forum members for help the first time.
Now http://www.cruxdreams.com is working again, but it does not yet provide sufficient funds to fund the forum.

Thank you for this information. I certainly appreciate your efforts. I will try to send a set amount each month (I already contributed quite a bit during the "crisis"). I have other things I donate to, and have upgraded those donations during the pandemic, with widespread unemployment in the US and lots of people lining up for emergency food. Housing will soon become an issue, too, as the moratoriums expire. A dysfunctional government is to blame, but that doesn't solve the problems. I do appreciate your efforts--this is a well done site. But the question windar asked is a valid one, and you should not take offense at it. I have already given this month, and will do so again in September. Again, thank you. This is like entertainment, and people should pay something, certainly.
