Impalement devices in indian temples

In India impalement is elaborate ceremony. Very dark half naked executioners caress their condemned victim and apply oil to anus. To this day impalement device is worshipped as a demi god. People also enact a drama of ancient impalement scene in the premises of such impalement device temples

Here is the yearly ceremony for the impalement stake. The sadism itself is worshipped and we sing songs in praise of the impalement wooden stake its carpenter etc

There's a nice story in the Puranas about a sage who was impaled on a false charge,
in fact some robbers had hidden stolen goods in his hermitage when he was in deep meditation -
(but he had been cruel to some insects when he was a kid, so this was his karma catching up with him) -
anyway, it seems if you're a yogi and can keep completely still in the lotus posture,
you can just sit on the spike without getting skewered!



It seems impaling was used for capital punishment in Sri Lanka
(not to mention the elephant in the room):

In Asia dark cruel male only executioners are there in old days

Do u know their speciality? They always sit in wooden slabs with red turban and a warm patient smile towards victim suffering.
They just sit and watch patiently bobbing their head in delight in deep caves
