With regard to the Danubian pillory Elephas provides a link to the story "Maragana Girl" by Edward C (caligula97030).
Strange enough this pillory (the same picture) appears also in another story, "The Girl with no Name" by Maritza Ortskt-Dukovna.
"Maragana Girl" and "The Girl with no Name" are two different stories that take place in different times but in the same fictional country of Upper Danubia.
I wonder whether Edward C (caligula97030) and Maritza Ortskt-Dukovna are the same author/artist.
