I like the idea of being stripped down with only a loincloth left to protect my dignity as I carry the cross. My body exposed for the onlookers to stare at. On the last moment, just before being tied down to my cross, they rip it off me.

Or maybe they make me take it off myself, reinforcing the humiliation of nudity.

I believe the humiliation is greater if you are raised on the cross and then your loincloth is ripped off with a flourish.

Any crucified person may take a pee break but,only when upon a cross,and must be carried out in public.
Drinks are only available, via a sponge dipped in whatever liquid is accessible.
Thought I'd clarify this point.
