In my deep study of history (in a Catholic high school in south St. Louis) I was unfortunately not exposed to carnal coupling. The church left Tree to learn withWhich point are we talking about here? Is that a phallic reference?

Messa and Judith have resigned themselves that they would be found guilty in court and be brought bound and naked to the gallows to be hanged before a crowd.
They know they will soon be dead and they bodies would dangle above very satisfied crowd.
Court day comes and Messa and Judith are placed in the defendants’ cell. They have no hope of an acquittal and know soon they will feel the nooses squeezing their lives out as the ropes crush their necks.
Of course they don’t know that Lady Barbara de Moore has used her female charms to convince Lord Despard Wragg to damn Messa and Judith to be executed by public crucifixion. So while Messa and Judith were correct that they would be found guilty and condemned to death. They are stunned when the magistrate ordered the women to nailed to crosses and hang crucified until they are dead.
To make things worse he orders the two women to be kept in separate cells until market day when they will be crucified!
We are locked in cells across the corridor from each other. I look down my body and cannot believe in a few days I will be hanging crucified before a mob watching Judith and I dying on our crosses.
I say to Judith “I didn’t know they still crucified people anymore. Hell, I didn’t know they crucified women!”
Judith says “I didn’t either but we will get to see each other while experiencing our own. I think I would rather be hanged.”

As much as Messa and Judith are dreading their executions Lady Barbara de Moore is quite delighted the wenches will die hanging crucified.

The worst is that while we'll be nailed into horrible pain , this Lady Barbara will come to contemplate our sufferings and will joke on us !!!But we see well that we're not like her, we cant have access to this Lord Despard Wragg , we're only coming from the lower class and just good to be an example !

The benevolent Judge Jollyrei presents Messa and Judith to the crowd below. With his generous display of mercy he says “These worthless whores have been deemed guilty of deviant behavior and have been condemned to death crucified before you. I am willing to offer these cunts mercy and will hang them by their necks if it suits my people.”
The crowd yells back “Crucify them!”
Messa and Judith seem to be doomed to their crosses.
Judith is given her cross and starts dragging it to the hill called ‘Golgotha’. Judith looks back at Messa and says “I will see you at the top, lover.”
Judith struggles to drag her cross up the path to the hill where she and Messa will be crucified and hang from their crosses until they die.
There is no mercy shown to my lover Judith and me! The cross is dropped on my shoulder and I am told to carry up the hill.
What else can I do? I am naked with a cross on my shoulder. It is crude middle-eastern wood though dried it is large and heavy. I have no choice. I am an innocent women damned to die hanging nailed to this wood. Let them mock me.
Judith and I have enjoyed a very open relationship through our years together. Our last hours together will be most opened though nailed to crosses meters apart.
It is a different perspective from making love on a beach and carrying the cross I will soon be nailed to. The crowd throws rotten food at me, spits at me, and calls me names I never heard before! What else should I expect?
I am a condemned wench soon to die nailed to the cross I am carrying.

From a balcony at Lord Wragg’s mansion Lady Barbara de Moore enjoys an Oriental herbal tea and a hand-rolled Madame Wu cigarillo as she watches the two Gallic women struggle to carry their crosses up the hill. Lady Barbara is most pleased that the brutal executions the two women face is because of her suggestion.
Lady Barbara is also getting a cut of the vendors’ sales tax. What the hell… Messa and Judith would be dead anyway.
Judith and I arrive at the top of the hill. The soldiers waste little time throwing me onto the cross. Searing pain nearly blinds me and when I open my eyes I see spikes are driven through my wrists and feet. I am nailed to the cross!
Nearby Judith is dragged to her cross.
They violent slam her onto the wood and I watch them start to drive the spikes through her wrists.
I don’t really pay attention as they drive the third spike through her feet. They lift my cross and my body shifts as the cross is raised. The last thing I remember is watching the stipe start to slip into the hole in the ground…
I am crucified!

Judith’s cross drops into the hole. She hangs motionless for a bit stunned in pain. Then she looks at me then says “Damn this hurts!”
This crucifixion thing is damn brutal!!!
