But , a day, Messaline was trying to fight against the roman invaders ...
She was promptly overwhelmed ...
... and the end was ineluctable ...
Judging from the amount of blood on her and her shield in that first pic, I would say she gave a good accounting of herself before being overwhelmed and crucified.
