I am fascinated by Nitsch, I have a large number of Nitsch show pictures going back years. OK he seems to plough much the same furrow each time, but it somehow works.

I was actually going to start a Nitsch thread myself, so it may as well be this one!

I remember seeing a few articles about the Hobart show, and seeing an ad for performers. I think they had to be under 30 or possibly 35, fit, and have no issues with nudity or blood!

wow, thank you phlebas, I was looking for more photos and videos, but there are few, the feeling of being naked and crucified, with people putting blood on naked body and several people looking, just very exciting! (sorry for the bad english), I really wanted to be a volunteer.

It's hard to find stuff if you just go looking now, but I've been collecting them for years, I have well over 100.
There's something sacrificial, sacramental about them.

You might particularly like #5 Sporus, the woman standing so close to the naked crucified man.

Wow. These are heart pounding images! The reality portrayed mixed with those bound nude models is so compelling. I’ll have to look again and may comment more. Brings much stimulating thought.

Quite dramatic and compelling to say the least. Reminds me of a bunch of chats I had with a guy who had dark and sinister desires he enjoyed role playing. What he always said was it would be safe, just exciting and heart pounding.
