An ancient sword was stolen, and then returned by the thief to the custodian. The thief accepts a punishment. A fine cooperation of @malins and @phlebas

That originally developed in the 'Girls with Swords' thread improvising on one pic, but we've agreed to take it to its own location as it started to become a bit of a diversion to the original thread -- which as the name says is mostly for pictures of girls with swords.
While in this little vignette, the girl loses her sword very quickly - hence the title ;)

(Actually I have another 'girl without a sword' in the Last warrior thread, I guess I'm just not good at keeping hold of any weapon I pick up ;)

I've only just noticed @MARTYR's new thread -
not recommending the practice, but critiquing video re-enactments

A question about a thread that may exist but I can't find it ...

we've got some 'topic' or lets say 'before' threads for
Archers, Warriors, Swordgirls etc. (who are not necessarily getting tortured while posted there ;)

and some 'result' or 'after' threads like 'Last warrior', 'Sacrifice altar' or 'burned at the stake' (where they can go to meet their fate)

Do we even have a 'before' thread for general depictions of various witches, sorceresses, pagan priestesses and other provocateuses against the patriarchy, or do they all go straight to Burned at the Stake?

I don't believe we do, Malins... feel free to start one! :)

Perhaps what you are looking for, occurs scattered over several pic threads with various topics, such as 'Women in peril', 'Great pictures found by Phlebas and others' and 'Manips by Phlebas', to name a few that come up to me immediately (no offense to others, of course). It takes some time to go through such threads (I did it already a few times), but there could be something to find.
