April begins dry... for those who didn't get their booze in time. In a 'secular' country to actually force people to observe the No Drinking commandment of the Holy Church, is kind of strange, right? But there it is. If you go to have dinner to a nice restaurant, let's say a good Italian restaurant, and you order some amazing pasta and, as it should be, a good wine to go with it... they won't serve you wine! ... It doesn't matter that you remind them that Jesus himself had his apostles drink wine during the Last Supper, and that he turned water into wine when there wasn't enough to party at a wedding! So... no alcohol this weekend in Bolivia, unless you have unending supplies of it in your home, as we do. So... Cheers!
And with that note, I go into JUSTINE, the production that is beginning to take shape. This is a complicated production, it requires a lot of pre-production work, with all the costumes, props, torture instruments, locations and so on. The most difficult part is to get all those things not knowing exactly how many of those things we'll need since we haven't been blessed with the script yet. We get instructions such as "We'll need two changes of clothes for four prostitutes" or "we'll need uniforms for six soldiers, including their weapons" So off we go looking for uniforms and weapons... oh... and those wigs. Pre-French revolution wigs, non ANY wigs.
So... the pre-production for JUSTINE is going on at full speed. However, there's so much to get together, the movie is so grand, that while we do that we'll be shooting another gem: PYGMALION, Jac and Amy's erotic version of the famous play. I say Jac and Amy because Jac is writing the script and Amy will be directing it. Jac is not only writing the two scripts, he's also very busy preparing the stars for their fabulous roles. I hope to have many pictures soon. Here's what is filtering through to my fingers.
We'll be going into production in a few days,. we'll not stop until we complete 2 movies, and then we'll start again. Yes, we're full of plans for the near future. But today is a day when we can't have a drink. Why? Holy Week. I can't deny that religion has inspired us to produce a lot of religious related movies, like Martyr.

The Passion of Isabel - The Final Days

The production of The Passion of Isabel is now going for the last shooting days. Bea is undergoing more tortures at The Wheel for what is going to be the last sequence in the movie. I cannot say much about how the shooting is going because I wasn't told. Jac went through a horrible, difficult and painful time last week, I don't know what his mood in the set is. He's very professional and I know that he will complete the production the way he planned.

Power Plays - Before we get into her film, Barbazul, I ask Amy how she selects the topics for her productions. With a chuckle, she tells me it’s whatever she finds interesting. “Sirwinakuy, the first film I directed, was a story I started writing about fourteen years ago. I was living in Paris at the time and kind of pieced it together from a bunch of different people and relationships I observed.” The film centers on a young woman (Veronica Paintoux) who develops a dominant/submissive relationship with an older man (Jac Avila). Amy imagines her stories “as a Jungian dream in the sense that I am all of the characters,” she explains, much like children who “play act and envision different kinds of scenarios.” In other words, role-playing teaches children about relationships. When she attempts to find the original location of the film, she finds more than she bargained for at the hands of The Man in Black.

Bea was nervous as she went up the ladder. Jac could understand. Amy had a terrible experience when she tried it for the first time. The experience scared Jac a lot, so now he’s extremely cautious. After Bea was up at a level without hitting her head on the ceiling, she put her legs over the rung, set her knees in the proper place and Jac helped her to go lower until her back was against the ladder.

I can’t help thinking that they should be making a movie, all three of them, with that set up, not just video clips for a demo or demos. A real movie.

With Bea on The Ladder, feeling the blood rushing to her head, Dani on The Wheel straining to overcome the discomfort to her back, and Mila suffering on The Cross, the scene was complete. It was quite a sight. Jac left them to suffer while he recorded the event. He said to me when preparing the pictures, ‘they were magnificent‘.

The Post Of Woes

The Post of Woes scene with Bea calls for an intense flogging, until she faints. While she’s flogged and interrogated, a scribe will be taking notes. There won’t be much to write because Odilia doesn’t have much to confess, she’s just a girl in the wrong place at the wrong time. She’s not even a nun, she is hiding in the cloisters from the wrath of the Marquesa.

After Odilia faints, the torturer will throw water at her to bring her back. The Confessor/Inquisitor, will again question her, just like a well trained journalist would do to get the proper sound bite. He will ask again and again until he hears the words he’s looking for. Which can be very annoying to the person being questioned.

It’s been said that No News is Good News, however in our work, No News bring about questions like: Any news?

I believe that question is in a lot of people’s minds. (...) What I know right now is that for the time being Jac is concentrating on the big picture, because of the pressure that comes from deciding dates and all of that, the big picture takes the big stage. In Jac’s case it does in a very dramatic way. I’m never surprised, I noticed a pattern occurring with enough frequency so I cannot call it a coincidence. It’s a method.

But let me track back a bit. Maleficarum Monxa Mala is at a particularly critical point. This is the point when a project is on the verge of going into production. It’s not here, it’s not there, it’s on some kind of edge. Things seem to be in place, but, at the same time, they are not. And why is that? The cast is there, some of the crew is there, the location is there, most of the props are there, most of the costumes are there, some of the money, 10%, is there and yet…

Maleficarum Monxa Mala - Preparing for The Wheel

A day after Jac, Bea and Dani worked on The Post of Woes with Bea, they went back in the provisional set to work with Dani on The Wheel and The Cross. There has been a lot of discussions concerning The Post of Woes, where the lead character in the movie, Odilia, played by Bea, will suffer an intense series of tortures. As I said before, it is that one Iconic Scene of the future that started the ball rolling for Maleficarum Monxa Mala. But what else is in store for our damsels in painful distress?

The Post of Woes is practically fully funded, by none other that our first big supporter Pícaro. The film will have that scene no matter what. The Wheel, in the other hand, has Jac as its main instigator because of two things, because he has a wheel to work with and because he has the actress that fits the wheel very well, Dani.

One of our previous big supporters and recent contributor to the cause D. Santorum, said at one point that The Wheelwas made for Dani. It seems to me that Jac agrees with him. D Santorum had an idea for The Passion of Isabel. He envisioned Isabel, Bea, on top of the rim of The Wheel used in that movie. Unfortunately, The Wheel, as it was, it was too big and there was no clearing between the top of the rim and the high ceiling in the set. So it was scratched off. But, by cutting The Wheel in half it became possible for someone to be tortured on the top of the rim. The question now is How? What Kind Of Tortures?

A Movie On The Verge

We are practically ready to start shooting, but not totally ready. We have a few things missing, most importantly, the funds. We didn’t start a public campaign yet and there’s a reason for that. Jac wanted to make sure that everything is in place and that’s where all our team’s efforts have been going, to get everything in place. I think we’re ready to start the campaign.

It was very important to have a committed cast, one we can count on for the duration and I mean the Seven Magnificent, who are going to go through a lot of indignities. It was easier for us to raise cash in the recent past. To raise funds for Olalla and JUSTINE we had a committed cast. We knew we could count on Amy, Mila and Bea to deliver. This time we had to start from scratch.

At the beginning of my discussions with Pícaro there wasn’t a cast, just the possible involvement of Bea and she wasn’t sure. She’s fully committed now. We now have a cast, a solid cast. All the tests Jac did with them showed their level of commitment and their willingness to put themselves through a lot of pain and discomfort. They were all tortured in different ways and they all passed the test. They are truly committed.

It's nice and timely that you ask. We will have other films on Vimeo soon, but most importantly, we'll have a lot of material from the new film, the casting, the demos, the tests, the making of, interviews with the actresses and a lot more in, our supporters club. Eulalia at the CruxForums: Wow, that first shot is a work of art, such perfect light and shade - and it's just a try-out!

After shooting the test video with Bea on The Post of Woes, Jac’s attention focused on Dani and The Wheel. As I mentioned before, it seems that The Wheel was made for Dani or Dani was made for The Wheel.

Dani plays Barbara, one of the nuns in the cloister. A traumatic event at the beginning of the film, within the first 20 minutes, launches a series of events that make it possible for the Inquisitors to intervene. For the test Dani was set up on the position with the most discomfort for her, her feet had to be tied so she would not slide down the wheel pulled by her body. Her head was at the extreme end of the wheel, as it will be in the film. Her wrists were shackled to the wheel itself. Bea was the one in charge to inflict punishment on the totally naked body of Dani.

Some would say that Dani’s nakedness is true nakedness because she’s shaven, totally. Something that might not be the case in the movie because in the times of the inquisition women did not shave… at all. Bea was happy to be the one with the whip, and her acting and attitude during the exercise showed that.

Pícaro: One thing in your last message that did clarify a point is Dani going mad. Sounds like she loses it even before being interrogated under torture and if that is the case then when she actually is put under torture her "hysterics" and screaming should be even more pronounced, right? (hopefully) One thing though, is using breast torture on her. I noticed a recent contributor, Jeffrey, corroborated my thoughts with a suggested nipple torture. Apparently I am not the Lone Ranger in that regard. Any more on that?

Barbara’s ‘madness’ is interpreted, by guilty parties, as Devil’s Possession. Someone brought the devil into the cloister and the point is to discover who has a close relationship with the devil. The first nun to be tortured does mention Barbara as someone who had sex with the demon. Obviously the next nun to be put to torture should be Barbara. But the infamous Monje Loco (Crazy Monk) has someone else in mind, the nun played by Graciela. Once the Mad Monk gets his hands on Barbara, there will be no limits to what is going to be done to her.

Barbara will be tortured for two reasons, to expel the demon in her and to have her confess as to who invited the devil in. At least one nun confesses that she saw the demon take Barbara like a dog takes a bitch.

Provost Of course Dani’s bare soles would be exposed in a most vulnerable position and deserve some attention: flames, hot irons, bastinado? These pre-production photos of the actresses’ bare backs, breasts, soles exposed for torture should stimulate other ideas…and investments in the film. Hoping all works out well for you….

The Post Of Woes sequence is fully funded, and all the suggestions Pícaro gave have been considered. In addition, a lot has been added to those suggestions. I can say that sometimes suggestions turn into inspiration and it’s better when those suggestions come with some cash attached to them.

A State of Flux

The date of production will be in a state of flux for a few more days. The issue with the location has brought changes. As I mentioned before, the building we were considering to rent is for sale and apparently the buyer wants to take over sooner than expected. Which means we will not have 4 to 6 weeks to shoot there, but only 2, and that’s a maybe, which is not good.

However, the Team, Bea, Dani and Jac, went on a walking tour visiting other locations this week and came to some initial agreements with those locations. The best colonial buildings, that are kept in their original state, are all museums, and all we need is permission to shoot there, we don’t have to pay anything for rentals, some small fees for security, maybe, but no rentals.

Naturally, because they are active museums with activities and what not, there are limitations as to how long we can use them to get what we need. A few hours a day, for a couple of days, maybe three days, is the standard and the fact is that we only need a couple of days in each location for all the scenes that are not in the dungeon. For instance, the flogging scene in Dead But Dreaming was at a museum too and we used it for three days.

The images of Dani on the half-wheel thing are so erotic to me. There is something really sexy about her body arched back like that. I'm not sure why this is.....maybe it makes her seem more exposed and vulnerable. Anyway, I'm finding them to be wonderful source material for my own fantasies.

Dani on The Wheel - The Reactionsl

The pictures I posted of Dani on The Wheel are quite a sensation. These tests were made in a temporary set, which was originally decorated for La Femme De Chambre, but Jac decided to work as if he was shooting the movie. He lit the stage in the style he loves, the famous chiaro oscuro found in paintings by Caravaggio, putting an emphasis on the body in pain, throwing the background to the dark, a different style from what was done in the first Maleficarum where the background had more presence.

Dani's pictures resulted in glowing comments here and elsewhere

When I look at the pictures I ask myself why aren't they just shooting the movie? It all looks so good, even the set.

I know there are some issues to be resolved, one of them is the crew. In these tests, Jac is doing the camera work, he's not acting. But that's not the problematic issue. The camera he is using is not 4K, is full HD, but it uses MiniDV video tapes, no longer in use, so it's difficult to find those tapes. Another problem is that the transfer of those tapes is in real time and sometimes the original quality suffers during the transfer.

To solve the camera issue there were some options. One, to hire a DP with his/her own camera or to get a good 4K camera for the company. Because of the costs of hiring someone Jac doesn't know, and because he wants to shoot a few more movies this year, Jac decided to get a new camera. Amy agreed, so the new camera is on its way.

D. Santorum These latest images of Dani on the wheel are so gorgeous! I especially love the last few, where Dani appears to have passed out from the torture and Bea is leaning in to look at her closely. Incredibly erotic. The images tell a wonderful story in themselves. And Dani’s nipples definitely deserve some attention while she’s on the wheel. They are practically begging for it.

D. Santorum The next-to-last shot, where Bea appears to be playing with Dani’s hair, is particularly beautiful. Please advice Jac to put that shot into the film. Just a few seconds of Bea (or anyone I suppose) looking into Dani’s face and lovingly stroking her hair. It would be a lovely moment.

There will be amazing shots in the new film, I know that, if there's something that Jac sets as a priority is a beautiful image. He liked it a lot how Bea and Dani interacted in those shots, so he's thinking of how to bring in that concept into the movie.

The camera Jac is using has a nice soft and warm touch, it results in a beautiful image, he was tempted to just use it. This camera was used in Maleficarum, Le Marquis de la Croix, Dead But Dreaming, BARBAZUL and not to mention some of the previous films like Agent X.

But we live in a more demanding time, higher resolution in images, and the need to upgrade our equipment is here.

Production of Maleficarum Monxa Mala is Getting Closer

Maleficarum Monxa Mala is getting closer and closer to production. New developments are moving the project rather fast, given the monetary circumstances, maybe a bit too fast. There’s so much to do still but the time is getting shorter. Production must start. Our cast is tremendously motivated and that's something that has to be kept and encourage.

The recent pictures of Dani on The Wheel caused many to make the glowing comments I mentioned before. One in particular came in the form of an email with a very generous offer:

Hello. I hope I am reaching Margot. The stills of Dani on the wheel has convinced me not only of her talent but also her beauty. Moreover, I am very impressed with the direction of the film. I will soon be coming into some money, and would like to invest $1,000 into the film. I wish I could do more. With that modest sum, would it be possible to prevail upon Jac and the others to create a traditional rack scene? I don’t know that I have a preference as to which actress might be the unfortunate victim of this torture, but I do feel strongly that she be completely naked and her growing be shaved. I need to know if the contribution of $1,000 is too small for this purpose. Please advise. Can we discuss this further? Thank you.

Naturally I responded that everything is possible with cash. In fact, I think the Rack scene to which Pícaro made an initial contribution of 2K could turn into a multi use traditional rack where one nun or two would be stretched, the traditional way, and Graciela would suffer the torture with the stocks as it was originally planned. A contribution of $1,000 would add the traditional element to the rack.

I mentioned this to Picaro, he has some say in the Rack scene, and he was in total agreement:


Pícaro: Hi, Margot. Great news about the new contribution. I really like he idea of a traditional rack. Obviously, the same “table” could be used for the traditional rack as well as the rack with stocks. That sounds to me like a perfect way to go. So the question now is who is going to suffer on it, right?

Our potential new contributor has one particular wish for the scene, that the one to suffer it: be completely naked and her growing be shaved . The one person to fill both of those requirements is Dani. So, not only would she suffer torture at The Wheel, but at The Rack too. That is something Jac will have to see how to work into the story, but it’s totally possible.

As the production schedule is upon us, we need to raise fairly soon at least 5K, of the 25,000 still needed to cover the hard cash production expenses that are coming up rather quickly, with that cash in our hands we’re ready to go. The offer of those 1,000 is a very good start. I’m eagerly waiting to hear from our new potential contributor.

When I mentioned our current emergency needs to our biggest contributor, Pícaro again came to the rescue:

Pícaro: By the way, speaking of funding, by my reckoning I’ve sent you to date, 6K for production of Monxa Mala. (…) That leaves me with a committed remainder of 1k. I’ve been thinking of an additional $500 to make a nice round total of $7,500. So, if you can use it now to get production going, send me a Paypal invoice. Alternatively, it might be better to send it after the funding campaign launches. What do you think? Either way, your call.

I decided for the immediate transfer of funds because our needs are immediate. We have expenses piling up, particularly with location, cast and crew issues, not to mention equipment, so the transfer was made. With this new transfer of hard cash, Pícaro has completed his funding of this film with a total of $7,500. Another contributor sent $500 our way, to make for a total of $8,000 of our goal.

Our plan was to raise 50,000 for this film, but some sequences, like a BATS sequence, were discarded, saving in the process over $15,000. Our new budgetary needs are went down to $35,000 of which we raised over $8,000 in contributions and few hundred in small donations. This is how our crowd funding campaign looks like:

Maleficarum Monxa Mala is getting closer and closer to production time and as we near the first time the word Action! will be heard in the set, we're looking for some people to join us in this incredible adventure. Our actresses can't wait to start shooting the movie, a brand new 4K camera is on its way from NY, the sets are going through the process of decoration, the instruments of torture are getting their final touches and all we need now is a bit more cash.

Pícaro:: What about Cristina and Katerine are they ready to get started? Haven’t seen nearly enough of them..

I’ll be posting pictures of Cristina and her session on The Cross soon, but not only that, we’re setting up a page where our supporters will be able to stream video clips of the sessions we had with her and the other actresses, from the moment they participated in the casting until the end of the shooting. I will also be posting all about Katherine’s session on The Cross and the Ladder, with Mila torturing her in both torture instruments.

And I will also post an excellent session with Mila on the Cross as well. The clips I’ll be posting are little movies in themselves. I don’t know if they will be edited in the fashion of The Via Crucis of Camille videos were, or if I’ll have the entire clip as it was shot. Sometimes I think that editing them would be good, but when I see the raw footage, it’s actually very, very interesting because the process of making the actresses turn into the characters is mesmerising.

Pícaro: Also, are you still going to use the St. Andrews cross or “X” frame? That sounded like a terrific idea, especially for Cristina or Katerine but you’ve not mentioned it for a while. Hopefully it is still on the list of devices.

The construction of The X Cross will take some good cash and a lot of work, not to mention the need for the proper space to make it happen. The idea to set it up on an axel so the victim can go from an up right position to then be put upside down is clever, but to make it work there has to be a lot of testing after it is built, to make sure it works properly and it is perfectly safe. It hasn’t been discarded totally yet, but right now it’s not within the budgetary and space possibilities.

Switching To Production Mode

The work on the set for Maleficarum Monxa Mala began. Jac, Bea, Mila and Dani took to transform the set into the rooms of a cloister.

Jac has what makes it possible to transition from the intention of making a movie to actually shooting it. He has a great and enthusiastic cast, some good locations, a brand new 4K camera, sound equipment, all the lights he needs, the torture instruments that found backing, a bunch of whips, enough costumes for a good size cast and more.

The transition to full production mode will be a bit slow at first. The first scenes with the Magnificent Seven will be shot this coming week in the almost ready room. During August, after the 10th, Jac expects to be in full production. His plan is to complete the production in 6 to 8 weeks, he has some room to be flexible.</p>

Working On The Set

The work on the set for Maleficarum Monxa Mala continues. There was one day off, for personal things, and on Wednesday, August 1st the team went back to the set to complete turning it into a very dark cloister room, not black. Actually a couple of rooms. That’s where the sisters will live for a few hours a day of shooting time, a few minutes of screen time. That’s where they will sleep, be taken care of after their painful penances, that’s where they will whisper their secrets to each other and that’s where they will meet Odilia.

Bea, Mila, Dani and Jac got really busy with the paint. Occasionally Jac took some pictures and video of their work. Dani had a question: “Will this be realistic?” She was referring to the color and tone Jac selected to paint the rooms. “We’ll create a hyper reality” was his response.

High Horse: It looks intriguing. I hope that filming is going well. Is it too late to pledge to a scene? Your initial posts included a ‘Judas Cradle’ scene


I’m pretty sure that such a scene has never been done in a film before, and I am sure that it would be pretty hot. One thing that prevents me from donating is disbelief that your lovely actresses would be prepared to submit themselves to it – naked! It’s a pretty invasive torture, and impossible to ‘fake’ having your intimate areas being penetrated and stretched open by the weight of your own body, especially with weights tied to your ankles. Who would agree to that? I’d love to see the scene though… What do the cast and Jac think? Would it be possible?

Hmmm, It was mentioned in my posts that there was such possibility. No one jumped over hoops over it, so it was discarded. However, depending on the size of the contribution, it could be considered. I mentioned that it would required 5,000 to have such a scene. I think there’s a movie where there’s a scene with the Judas Cradle, but I can’t be sure. If we bring that scene into the film, we’ll have to see which of the actresses would be willing to do it.

Whatever contribution you are thinking must be offered fairly quickly, because we’re going into production and there’s not a lot of time to prepare it. The ball is in your court.

A Cloister Room for Penitents

The Production of Maleficarum Monxa Mala begins with a Cloister Room for Penitents. For the next few days Jac will concentrate on the bedroom scenes. Some of the cast members have issues to take care of before getting totally involved in the film.

The bedroom scenes are very important, many of those scenes are at the beginning of the film, they introduce all the elements of the story, they establish the characters, the relationships to each other, the subplots and many transition points.

Mila À La Croix

Mila is going through a lot of torture because Jac is shooting an entire sequence with many camera angles, within the confines of the Dungeon, using both, the new camera and the sound recorder and with a very small crew. Bea does the camera, Mila, Jac and Dani act in it. All of them work setting up the scene and the sound does its job without anyone really doing anything. It’s just there.

The sequence has a title for now, Mila À La Croix (Mila to the Cross) A very intense sequence that takes place at The Post of Woes. The result of this creative exercise will be posted for streaming exclusively in the Red Feline Club for our supporters viewing pleasure.

A pincer and other tortures ahead

Jac, Dani and Mila went to a famous weekly open market to see what they could find that could be of use in the film. They found many good decorative objects like antique religious artefacts, chains, a great Pincer that has a strange shape, they don’t know what it is used for, normally, but it looks very nasty, old and rusty.

Dani asked Jac: Are you going to use that on my fingers? Mila responded, What makes you think he wants to use it on your fingers?

I totally agree that Mila looks amazingly sexy, completely naked in front of the post. The way she is posed has a lot to do with it, I think.

I want to lick her all over, tickle-torture her some, then lick her all over some more.

Then we can switch places and she'll do me. :bdsm-wink:
I think this show will be amazing. I want to see you with Mila being tortured.
