All are familiar. I believe you can still get herring in a key-opened can. I ate a lot of these as a kid under the name "kippered snacks." Several brands existed.

I have a friend who has a very unusual occupation.
He makes Scarecrows.
He's successful and proud and deservedly so.
His Scarecrows are the best, most effective in the world.
How effective are they?
When you plant one in the middle of a field,
the crows take one look and bring back
the corn they stole last year.

A weekend in the life of a squirrel (Part I)
The squirrel wakes up. It's a nice day. He goes skateboarding
and then water skiing
Then it's time for some medieval historical reenactment
which he enjoys so much he has to do some more
Next, he takes his teddy bear collection out for some fresh air
Then it's time for the squirrel to visit his aged relative and take her for a walk

But then it's time for some real squirrelly fun.
The squirrel likes to earn a little extra cash by playing piano in a bar
And singing
He is also a pool hall hustler
He spends all the money on drink
And he sends ill-advised texts when drunk (don't we all?)
When he gets home, he doesn't feel too good
And the next day he is ..... fragile
But he will be repeating this all next weekend!
