Interesting series. If I had to guess, I'd say that they are probably French - they seem to have that sort of style about them. I tried googling the name, and the best result I got was this page; (Which does indeed seem to confirm my original suspicions)

It does look a bit like them and it would fit their "libertine" lifestyle. Although, it might have been more likely to have Percy fucking Mary and Byron fucking Percy. Anyway, the artist did manage a reasonable likeness of the trio.

Ironically, although they were considered giants in their day, Lord Byron and Percy Bysshe Shelley are better know for their lifestyles and their works are only read by college literary majors (like me), whereas everyone in the world has heard of Frankenstein (even if very few have actually read it).
