Problem With Images

Has anyone else had problems with thumbnails loading?
Since this morning most (not all) thumbnails are not showing up in the threads, and a lot of the users avatars are missing. Clicking on the image links works most of the time but the thumbnails are still not showing at the bottom. (See attached images - if they are showing up)

If I click one one of the thumbnails that does show up, I get an image like the second one - notice all the broken thumbnails at the bottom. Sure if I select these they still load the large image as normal, but this is still not right.

If I click one of the image links in the thread that is not showing the thumbnail, then it just opens the linked image in a new tab and doesn't give me the thumbnail browser at the bottom.

Any ideas what's going on?

OK that's good news in a way because now I know it's not a problem on my end, or with my connection (I'm on Virginmedia and that's been VERY flaky the last few days) but looking more like a problem with the site itself.

I'm getting the same, sometimes a Refresh on the browser bar (Chrome) brings thumbnails and avatars back, but not consistently.

Yeah I'm using Firefox but I get the same if I refresh the page. Sometimes I'll get (some of - not all of) the thumbnails back, but it very rarely fixes it completely, and user avatars are very hit-and-miss, so it doesn't look like it's affecting certain browsers more than others, so I guess we're back to a problem with the site or (more likely) the host server :(
 
I do not know if this is somehow related but in Germany there were several problems with different companies which were victims by hacker attacks because some companies made their servers easier to be used by home office workers but exactly this made the servers more vulnerable for attacks. For example, I am customer of "save.tv" which is a company offering services like an "online-video-recorder" for all German TV programs, additionally deleting the commercials in the movies before download. They are completely offline for almost 36 - 48 hours now because their data might have been stolen through a leckage in a hosting company and they are now sending e-mail to all customers to check if someone stole their identity or tried to get access to the bank accounts of the customers. This seems to be one of the greatest hacker attacks in Germany up to now and only possible because of the coronavirus-crisis. It is really sad that now there are criminals using this catastrophe as if it were not bad enough yet.

Yes. Same problem.

Good work Wragg, I was just trawling through to find the likeliest candidates when I noticed you'd already got started.

One other that gets heavy posting, though happens not to have new content today, is:

Righty-ho, I have locked that one too.

Just when we thought we were coming out of lock-down, :(

It won't be as long as other lock-downs. Promise! :)
 
Just wondering about the quantity of non-crux materials posted. A lot of it is just general softcore porn. Other than giving images of attractive women for the guys to ogle, does the quantity pose a limit on the amount of crux-oriented materials that can be posted?
