“10 Personality Traits That Cripple You Sexually” Too many to list, but some of the most important: “do you care about the color of the new sofa pillows?” “do you take no for an answer or just take it when you want it?” “Have you learned the death of sex phrase, ‘yes dear’?”

“Exposed: Newest Gathering Places for Homosexuals” I want to know because? I want avoid going there or I want to go there?

“Where the Over-sexed Women Prowl for You” No question, this is the place I want to find. I love Over-Sexed Women. (You listening you CF women? I’m still waiting to hear).

Cover Title “Kiss the Skull of Death, My Beautiful Muchacha!” Here is the naked(!) artwork

An "orphan" inside story set with the Fidelistas.
Fighting Fidelistas.jpg
Girl looks a lot like Barb, but loser in the glasses looks nothing like Jewels; he would never let that Fidelista scum get on top! I must concede that against all expectation, Barb is doing an amazing job hand-holding an MMG. Usually characters like John Wayne or Audie Murphy did that and only with plastic ones in the movies. (BTW Audie Murphy was more than a pretty boy actor; He received every military combat award for valor available from the U.S. Army, as well as French and Belgian awards for heroism.)

OK, Pulpers, Now that I've got my cool new uniform affirming my status as Euer Führer your leader, I will be busy making plans to purify the Reich thread of mongrel Bolshevik inappropriate elements and restore the Lebensraum scope needed by der Deutsche Leute this thread. But I shall still post Pulps! Sieg Heil! Hooray for Pulps!

Now more than ever, Pulpers have to serve the Reich thread and spread the word that Nazis had a gentler, more artistic side. They even invented body painting!

“Why Young Girls Turn into Unbridled Sex Kittens – The Bedroom Rebels” Now as a typical middle aged reader, I would have no direct interest in this, except an altruistic desire to lead those girls on the right path. Are there any I could lead up the path to my bedroom?

“Sensational Book Bonus – The Thrill-Kill Pack ‘Captures the in-the-raw emotions of California’s Sin Surf World…’” captures my imagination, in-the-raw means nude. Right?

“Rotten Meat Bootleggers - 30 million American’s Are Unaware Suckers” Rotten meat, really? And I thought I got the runs from Eulalia’s uncooked Haggis.

Cover Art: “Top Priority Mission for a G.I. Rescue Ace – Free the Women of Love Captive Stalag” A stalag (Kriegsgefangenen-Mannschafts-Stammlager) was for POWs, so how the girls are there is not clear, but who gives a damn! The girl in front could keep my teenage boy juices flowing! As I said, what a sweet artist game they are playing when the trigger-happy G.I. enters with some other guys who look more interested in the girls than killing Nazis.

Here is the interior layout;

The girl is wearing more paint and less clothes (none) the art seems to be more artistic.

Now it's time to send the children from the computer. (You’ve let them watch up to now? What is family life coming to?)

Reimagined work by another artist on the original artwork, sacrilege. (I love it)

I neglected to credit the fine artist, Gil Cohen

Back story on the nude from MensPulpMags.com who deserve credit for much of the research preserving the heritage of the Pulps

"Was the nudie version perhaps originally intended as an illo for the interior, where nude paintings were “allowed” in 1967?

Or, did Gil Cohen alter the painting for some reason after it was used for the cover of Men?

The first possibility seemed unlikely, since Cohen also created a separate two-page interior illustration that was printed with the “LOVE CAPTIVE STALAG” story. (It was also illustrated with an odd set of photos that look like they came from movie stills and a stock photo house.)
It also seemed unlikely to me that Cohen would have altered the painting after it was used for the cover of Men.

In my interview with him, Gil told me he stored most of his original artwork at home until the mid-1970s.

Then he impulsively sold most of it at incredibly low prices in a bin at his brother’s hardware store in Philadelphia, simply because he was tired of storing it and had moved on to another stage of his long career.

When I took a closer look at the nudie version of the painting, I saw another clue that indicated it probably wasn’t Cohen who did the altering.

I could see a faint, leftover image of the black bra on the chest of the woman in the foreground. I highly doubted that such sloppy work would be done by a meticulous artist like Cohen.

So, I decided to find out if Gil could clear up the mystery. I emailed him the photo of the altered painting and asked if he had any idea how and when it had been changed.

Gil replied: “After all these many years I cannot actually recall what happened nor when. The only thing that I can say for certain is that I did a cover illustration showing the girls with body paint and the Nazi holding an artist’s pallet and paint brush. I don’t remember painting bare breasts.”

That means somebody other than Cohen painted over the original artwork and turned it into a “nude painting,” thinking it would be more salable. (The bastard!)
By the way, in the “LOVE CAPTIVE STALAG” story, a Nazi officer really does practice body painting on the women. (The bastard!)

I should also note that the story is actually worth reading. It’s a fast-paced, fairly bloody, credibility-stretching yarn with some intriguing characters — including three American Indian GIs who kill Nazis the old-fashioned way, with arrows and hatchets.

Not quite as over-the-top as Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds. But I think Quentin would like it."

I suspect few of my Gefolgsmanns followers here on Revenge of the Pulps realize mein kampf my efforts to bring you the most complete pulp experience and knowledge possible. That last set of posts did exhaust me. So here is one with very little kampf effort:

The art and the cover blurb sort of say it all. Excuse me, I have to retire to the locked bathroom for a while. Nurse Ratched is coming.

“Weasels Ripped my Flesh”

Look at those dirty, filthy weasels (actually, they are kinda cute) attacking the guy. Not a couple, not a dozen, Hundreds taking their lives in their hands (weasels are not strong swimmers) coming for him. Two questions that we will never have answered. First, what did he do to piss them off? Second, are the weasels Nymphos? Interior spread:

14 years later Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention prepared to release a new album. They titled an instrumental tract and the whole album “Weasels Ripped my Flesh”. For an album cover they dared an artist to top the original. Playing off a Schick electric razor ad:

He produced this:

The blurbs are an anti-climax:
“Sin Happy Vacationers are overrunning Cape Cod” Marge, book my next vacation on the Cape. Story, gay couples like artist colony of Provincetown on the end of the Cape. Marge, change my vacation back to my mother-in-law’s.
“Hooked to a Killer Shark” Adventures in deep sea charter fishing.
“Can Women Justify their need for Extra-Marital Relations?” Have you seen some of their husbands? Can you say “Man-Starved Nymphos”.

Hope you enjoyed the most famous single Pulp Cover Ever!

“An Article YOU must Read: Man’s most Deadly Fear – Impotence” Well let’s just smack you between the eye with this one. As you can see, along with the words, teens, nymphos, sex, and Hitler, some form of male, ahem, inadequacy is the most popular story. Is the problem that widespread, or just with the readers? I should you warn you Pulpers not to obsess on these magazines or ED may stalk you. Fortunately, I am immune to any negative effect (as long as I take fifteen Viagra and six Cialis a day, I’m as potent as ever!).

“Why Woman Called Him ‘The World’s Greatest Lover’” -I’ve been afraid for a long time that this would come out. I acknowledge that I do please the Ladies, but “World’s Greatest”, blush. Well, maybe in the top ten. OK, top three!

“Nelli. Italy’s Famed ‘Baby Vamp’” Due to complete ignorance of what this is about or means, and with a grudging respect for this forum’s age rules, I ain’t gonna touch this with a ten foot viper!

“His Bite is Death: Pit Viper” This may be the cover blurb, not sure. And I really don’t care for it. I’m as afraid of snakes as the next guy (right Indiana?) but they aren’t a very erotic threat to my mind. You get bit, you die. I guess it saves bullets, but otherwise leaves me flat.

Any of you lovely Ladies out there (inside whose pants, I wish to erforsche) have erotic terrors of vipers (no, not the ones at the bar tonight).

WARNING: If you are not interested in a close encounter with RL Nazi atrocity, you may want to skip this. It may be offensive.

All Man, September 1961, large format. Style sometimes called, “Shudder Pulp”

I will start with the burbs for those who enjoy that and upload the cover and story at the end.

“Exposing the hidden sex secrets of the four hundred; SEX QUEENS OF HIGH SOCIETY” I don’t think this refers to the threeway between Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby and Grace Kelly in the 1956 musical film HIGH SOCIETY. The Four Hundred seems to refer to Ward McAllister who coined the phrase "The Four Hundred" in the 1890's by declaring that there were "only 400 people in fashionable New York Society." According to him, this was the number of people in New York who really mattered; the people who felt at ease in the ballrooms of high society ("If you go outside that number," he warned, "you strike people who are either not at ease in a ballroom or else make other people not at ease."). The number was popularly supposed to be the capacity of Mrs. William Backhouse Astor Jr.'s ballroom. In fact the whole blurb seems blurby.

“How to Win at Crap” Craps? If you don’t know the name, do you know the game?

“From a doctor’s notebook: The long suppressed secrets of The Nymphos Who Walk the Streets” They still let them walk the streets? Aren’t they chained up somewhere and being man-starved to get ready for our visit? Where did I put that other case of Viagra?

“I Heard my Woman Screaming – They forced me to watch them at their game of pain and torture.” I just love games! Isn’t watching pain and torture what these mags are about!

Finally the cover:

Again, we see a female Nazi who, despite being required to display not only cleavage but her very fashionable Lace Bra, as usual really seems to enjoy her work. Her work seems to be arts and crafts, she make lampshades out of human skin! But this Lady is creative. Many of her colleagues make the lampshades, but she specialized in artistic American tattoos. The poor POW with a lovely American eagle on his chest is going to suffer horribly. Now personally I dislike tattoos, especially on lovely female skin; I think it degrades a wonderful thing. However, I would not wish this method of tattoo removal on anyone. Giving the RL Nazi habit of using skin and other parts of bodies from real victims, I find this cover deeply disturbing. However, I have sworn an oath on the souls of those poor dead weasels, that I would present all of Pulpdom to you. Even if I do not enjoy all of it.:boaa:

To continue my attempts to educate the benighted morons on this site who have yet learned the necessity of following the every wish of their Führer, leader, (this is the Führerprinzip philosophy of success), here is another great quote for a site that practices random acts of snuffery.

And then for something completely different:
“Remember what Pappy used to say: ‘Early to bed and early to rise is the curse of the working classes.’”
Bret Maverick (played by actor James Garner)

One of the top artists for Pulps and elsewhere, was James Bama. Some of his work follows:
Western painting by James Bama for STAG, Sept. 1961[17].png
TRUE ACTION, January 1966. Art by James Bama-8x6.jpg
STAG, February 1961. Art by James Bama-8x6.jpg
A painting by Bama using Eva Lynd, frequent model for Pulps
STAG, Aug 1957. James Bama art, Eva Lynd model-8x6.jpg

But the purpose here is one far greater than to review the work of a fine Pulp artist. As my true Gefolgsmanns followers here on Revenge of the Pulps realize mein kampf my efforts are to Glorify the great Reich thread and bring it to its rightful place at the head of the nationen threads on Cruxforums. Therefore I proudly present Bama's greatest work, created for the cover of Hitler and Nazism, by Louis L Snyder!
Sieg Heil!!!!! Hooray for Pulps!!!!! (when we come to power, I won't have to strike-through the TRUTH!)
