Today the last Chapter of http://www.cruxforums.com/xf/threads/the-nazi-lust-ordeal-of-the-virgin-belly-dancer.7528/ will be posted. Here is a last random set of Arab theme or stories:

Inside art and story
13559986873_22c5f9b342_b.jpg"Her punishment was to be the same as any Legionnaire's: she would be dragged behind the horse for two hours." !! Dragged for TWO HOURS! Now that is real punishment!

Today I thought to mix the usual themes of a pulp magazine with the Grund zu sein raison d'être for this site. A cover with strong crucifixion reference.
New Man, June 1970, cover art by Bruce Minney
Bruce_Minney_New_Man-scan.jpg
"!0 Sure-fire Ways to become a Swinging Lover" Sounds very helpful. I guess #1 is to buy a swing.
"Soul Mates of Torture for France's Monster King" I have no idea what history this refers to; But count me in!
"Revealed: The Strange Sorority of Woman who Want to be Murdered" Sounds like a sorority subset of cruxgirls.
"Behind the scenes if the Way-Out Hippie Cults." Is there sex included?
Cover Story: "Smash the Latin's Jungle Combine of Sin and Slavery" One white guy with a tommy gun against seven+ jungle natives with machetes and spears. Doesn't seem quite fair. But not the lovely, scantily-clad lady hoisted up by her arms for what purpose we just have to imagine.
Here is larger, unadorned art:
Bruce_Minney_New_Man-1970.jpg

Then of course there was Nina Trent, the prototypical White Jungle Goddess (fast forward to the 7:10 mark).

The actress Edwina Booth was goddam good. And she got so sick while shooting Trader Horn in East Africa that her promising career was finished.
Very interesting. I was struck by the blatant racism--"Don't you understand? White people must help each other!" says the unflinching Trader Horn (Harry Carey) as the Jungle Queen whips him repeatedly across the face.

I read that along with the extra killed by a rhino, another was eaten by a crocodile, and a crocodile almost got the star, Harry Carey, as he swung on a grapevine across a river. A second unit shot animal scenes in Mexico, to get around U.S laws promoting ethical treatment of animals.

The movie was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Picture.

I bought a fair number of these in the '60s, but rarely remember the details enough to know whether any pictured were among them.

But the rats! #5. I definitely remember the rats!

may have already been posted here. I do know I’ve seen her stuff in collections of fantastic art for decades, but never knew the artist was a woman.

Who apparently didn’t live long enough to see any income from the collections of her work.

I have more of her Weird Tales covers somewhere. I will find and post.

Still have them? Fair condition goes for 50 to 250 £ each!
But the rats! #5. I definitely remember the rats!
"The prospect of being eaten alive by rats ripped frantic screams from our throats as the perpetrator of this madness waited to hear our confessions."

There was a much later film called "Naked Prey", in which supposedly one of the black extras was bitten by a cobra and died.
Wikipedia says Edwina Booth got malaria (as did a lot of others) and maybe schistosomiasis. Then there is sleeping sickness spread by tsetse flies.
(In the cartoon, "Rhinoceros poetry", Gary Larsen has a rhino reciting: "Africa, my Africa/under azure skies/Africa, my Africa/Look out! Damn tsetse flies")
Any of those things could cause life-long debilitation, and running around half-naked doesn't help.
I did notice that the guy she whips is wearing a tie. That ruined the whole mood for me.
Nice post. I guess it's more interesting than people running around amid endless explosions. There seems to have actually been a plot.
People seem to think that they own the world, and they are basically invulnerable. I don't think other creatures agree exactly.

Deine Führer Your leader wished to pay due homage to a neue Geschichte new story by @windar and @Barbaria1 found in http://www.cruxforums.com/xf/threads/last-liaison-in-lyon.7609/. I trust they will give a fair and respectful treatment to the hard-working, self-sacrificing agents of the Drittes Reich German occupation. So here are just a few of my pulp covers documenting the brave Kampf struggle of those admirable men. Sieg Heil! Enjoy!

Appreciate the story plug, but have to wonder why these Gestapo guys seem to only apprehend and interrogate young women wearing only underwear? Memo to SOE agents undergoing training: Keep your clothing on at all times

Thanks.

Given the choice between apprehending a hot babe wearing only her underwear or a frumpily dressed woman, I know which I would choose.
Wish you a better fate than Odette L!  :very_hot:
