First, congratulations on an original concept. The fact that crux victims served as a meal for birds while still alive isn't something often brought up, much less depicted.

Now the bad news. While the girl's face is in sharp focus, the birds are very blurry. Also, there is some sort of white haze on the left side of her face that looks like a vale or something. I'm guessing its a leftover of the background from there original image. Also, it would be nice to see more of her.

BTW: what happened to your avatar? It doesn't show up anymore.

Crucified With Nails (photo Manips)

Were busy making myself a new avatar when I figured I might as well start a new thread dedicated solely to what I had in mind. Making these is fun, so I should be able to provide some more eventually.

Basically the idea is to take an original crux photo where the lady is attached to the cross with ropes, cuffs or whatever else and replace the bindings with the proper way of doing things Apart from hammering the nails in I'll also alter other elements whenever need arises - be it readjusting the limbs, straightening the cross or painting a hand from scratch if necessary.

I agree that changing the setting from a dark dingy basement to an open field suits crux well, but I would ask that you leave the ropes on, and add the nails on top. You obviously don't have to listen to me though.

Jack's post gave me an idea. From now on, apart from replacing ropes/cuffs with nails I'm going to try and change the setting to something more cool whenever possible (and when it isn't too much hassle to be worth it, obviously).
Oh, and I will be providing source photos for comparison.
