Why is it that women always have to take the blame ?
The one crucified in the middle always gets the blame?...OK, here you are! :-D
...OK, here you are! :-D
This was only a "speedsketch" made within five minutes or so just to make a background for the joke, so I took no care making an image, sorry.Sorry, it's a great drawing but I can't contrast-enhance this image because it is so bright on the left side and so dark on the right. A uniform background is much easier to subtract away!
OK, we can add one more thief to make the whole scene less symmetrical. ;-)The one crucified in the middle always gets the blame?
Sophia hadn't fleed away together with the others slaves when their master accidentally drowned in the pool, because she knew it was an accident and that she was innocent. However the date of election was near and no one trusted the single female slave witness. She was arrested and kept in prison for half a year, getting pregnant while being "consoled" by the soldiers, and finally she was crucified when no other murderer had been found. At least they gave her a long sharp skewer and nailed her feet with bent knees so she was not able to lift her body up and died horribly painful but relatively quick death. People watching her execution wondered why her belly was so big but later when the vultures feast begun they discovered that she had to deliver twins, that's the reason for her enormous belly.
Then, they can bicker two against two!OK, we can add one more thief to make the whole scene less symmetrical. ;-)
High contrast version with some shadow from non-uniform backgroundHer last hour
The very last trickle of urine... The very last drops of blood... The last tear... The last exhaust... The last spasm of muscles... The last groan of pain... The last spreading of my legs... The last blush of shame... The last laughter of the crowd... And the darkness...
Bloodless...
