The girl in 5,6,&7 is wearing an officer's cap from the East German (DDR) army & the girl in 8 is wearing the cap of an officer in the West German/unified German Luftwaffe.
If you're going to do fantasy costumes, don't use symbols of real world governments.
These pictures & some others posted are really diesel punk (post 1900, pre 1945) rather than steam punk (pre 1900). It's a thin line & the pictures are nice, so it really doesn't matter.
I just have to point these things out...It's a compulsion.
