“Before I leave,” he said, “I would like to have you whipped by Pierre here,

but this time I’ll ask your permission. Do you accept?”
"Will you stay to watch me being whipped?
"Of course."
"Then yes, I accept."
Understand, I want Pierre to whip only your breasts. Do you still accept?"

"Yes!"
"Very well, Pierre. you may begin. And Pierre?"
"Oui, M'sieur?

"Do not hold back."

Are you sure?
bdsmlr-35490-gacaRyCsNj.jpg

Yes, please, no more blindfolds… I want
to look in your eyes when you strike me!
Which whip do you want to use on me? You choose!

I was planning on using the new dog whip.
It leaves a lot of heavy marks. Are you sur--?

--Good, I want to see the welts form.
This is a whole new ball game, my love.

Where do you want me to whip you?
Depending on where you're struck
the dog whip can be very, very painful.

Whip my back, my breasts… Anywhere you want.
And for how long?
For as long as you want… Don't stop, even if I beg you!
I want to see if I can reach sub-space...

All right, if you're absolutely certain...

…One suggestion? Let’s use the necktie as a gag.
I have a feeling I may scream.

"But I belong to you," O said. "Punish me. When Eric comes..."

An hour later, when he [Eric] was shown a grotesquely bound
and spread-eagled O strapped to the two columns,
the boy blanched, mumbled something and disappeared.
O thought she would never see him again.

She ran into him again at Roissy, at the end of September,
and he had her consigned to him for three days in a row,
during which he savagely abused and mistreated her.

I don't know where Sympa has got to, no posts here since March. I hope he's ok.
I thought of this thread when I wanted to post these, as they are cruciform.

I'm very touched by your concern, phlebas;
I have been here, mainly on other threads:

"Now This Just Isn't Funny"
"whipping-stories-sympazero"
"Bare-Naked Ladies" etc
Thanks

By chance I read an article about Patricia Highsmith this week -
yes, she seems to have become a bit of a recluse,
liked her cats better than people,
and seemed to most people to be a misanthropic old witch,
but others admired and even liked her,
I think it quite possible she'd have had a lively fantasy life!

I think it would be fair to say she was interesting and complicated. If you have formed that opinion solely from these last few posts, I believe I am not being unfair to her. Her novels were dramatised and 'The Talented Mr. Ripley' starring Matt Damon, is probably the best known film based on her books. I discovered her a few years back when I chanced upon her biography in a second-hand/charity shop. When I saw her beautiful young face on the cover, I flicked through and found the topless portrait, happily paid the price, went home and read it - a sad story well told. I think it was 'Beautiful Shadow: A Life of Patricia Highsmith by Andrew Wilson.

Time to give this thread a bump? We have discussion of Patricia Highsmith in two threads, this one and Bob's. I found this article today, and look forward to the published diaries, they should be a very good read.

Sex, to me, should be a religion. I have no other. I feel no other urge, to devotion, to something, and we all need a devotion to something besides ourselves, besides even our noblest ambitions. I could be content without fulfilment. Perhaps I should be better off in such an arrangement.

Yes, maybe sex is my theme in literature – being the most profound influence on me – manifesting itself in repressions and negatives, perhaps, but the most profound influence, because even my failures are results of repressions in body and mind, which are repressions of sex.

I think she would have fit in here, imagine the stories she would have written!

A departure:
Starting a series of some of my favourite Photographers.

Today, William Mortensen (1897–1965).
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Mortensen

He was criticized, vilified, ostracized.
His paintings and photos described as a cross between
'garage calendar pin-ups' and 'sadomasochist entertainments'.
He was not appreciated by the Photographic Establishment.
Ansel Adams called him 'the anti-Christ'.

(In other words, my kind of guy!)

His work, while not strictly Cruciform, is nicely twisted.
And very funny.
Hope you enjoy.
