He doesn’t have to be prolific; look at that gorgeous render! It’s the perfect crucifixion, and it has a story and a half! Just post all of his crosses, they’re all amazing!The artist known as Noone is pretty prolific, but he doesn’t do much crux.

Lovely! I just went and bought the whole drama at a used store. Perhaps I can get some new ideas for my sketchesThis set doesn’t depict agony but rather the "ante-agony," just before the nails go in and the screaming starts. The original still is from HBO’s Spartacus, a series rife with graphic violence and full male and female frontal nudity, which never got around to crucifying women naked.
Doggone it.
The artist seamlessly grafted onto the actor a well matched CGI body, then added some quite convincing used-and-abused postwork.
The result is IMHO something along the lines of HOLY SHIT!!!

That first one has always been a classic drawing for me. Pity the artist only did a couple on our favorite topic"Screaming their lungs out" is a common expression, but anatomically unlikely. "Screaming their larynxes to shreds" is closer to what actually happens.
