One can really ask if "pi" exists in the real world. Certainly, you can't put the whole thing into a computer (you can't really put a lot of "base ten" numbers into a computer either). There are no perfectly circular or perfectly spherical objects in the real universe that we know of (despite Plato's protest that they "must" exist somewhere). All physical mathematical models are approximations, because there is always noise that one can't get rid of that make the models mildly inaccurate.
Strange to find out that these so called 'real numbers' maybe do not exist in the real word!. And yet, they are used to calculate things, so that we have buildings that stay upright, airplanes that keep flying, we can travel to the moon and back, we have computers and other things that work….:sidra_1::yikes:

one has to ask what the "designer" was thinking
The weirdness of our world sure raises a lot of questions about its designer ;)
When it comes to pi, this one is quite amazing...
The conclusion is of course, if pi was not to be calculated by the ratio of a sequence of collisions .... collisions would have to behave differently.
If collisions behaved differently, inevitably we'd not have conservation of mass /energy, we'd not have a universe, we'd not exist and not be wondering about pi...

Well,...:watchout:.:eek::confused::confundio1::thinking:

Fortunately, things are simpler than that, thanks to Euler and Feynman :

At least, I think….:copas:

And bees can't fly … (except that they can!)

Arch-eurosceptic Farage leads march over Brexit betrayal
Untitled.jpg
In the pouring rain in Sunderland, northeast England, which was the first place in Britain to declare a vote to leave the EU, Farage, wearing a flat cap and carrying an umbrella, said Brexit was now in danger of being scuttled by the establishment.

“We are here in the very week when parliament is doing its utmost to betray the Brexit result,” Farage said. “It is beginning to look like it doesn’t want to leave and the message from this march is if you think you can walk all over us we will march straight back to you.”

The march, which began with about 100 people, is due to end at parliament on March 29, the day the United Kingdom was supposed to leave the EU.

don't think too much about all that ... you know where it can lead...

The whole thing is : all this stuff should work in one or other way in e.g. the binary system too! Thats would be the proof!

Anyone checking it?:icon_writing:

(poor crux girls! their beautiful naked bodies are whriting on their cross, but no one pays attention to them any more, since the whole forum is absorbed my maths).:icon_pc:

People are paying attention, trying to figure out of there is a formula for the movements that involves pi. You can only watch so long without your mind going off on a tangent (pun intended).

Speaking of Breasts,
UK Health Service Caught in Baby Formula Scandal
They’re milking the system. According to a recent investigation, one-third of local commissioners who allocate resources within Britain’s publicly funded National Health Service accept sponsorship from milk formula companies. Accepting payments from the industry, which often uses aggressive marketing tactics, breaches World Health Organization guidelines.

What are the risks? In the U.K., which has one of the world’s lowest breastfeeding rates, a recent report found cow milk allergy diagnoses have jumped 500 percent over the past 10 years.

And Barb gets worked up because she had to contribute to national health as a hucow for a short time! Where is her community spirit? One would expect that as a rebel leader she would fight against the milk formula companies with total commitment :)

And a Sieg Heil to him, sly bugger

Oh Tree you are wrong! The modern ship are bigger than the Titanic and enter in the Canale della Giudecca passing in front of Piazza San Marco. Look at here:

and they are not photoshop manips...
But how deep do they sink and how often do you have icebergs????
