By the crucifixion are involved all parts of the corpus.
But the arms in 60° are special because they are petrified.

Wrists, ankles are fixed, the only allowed movement are the knees witch elevate the corpus for short time. But the arms stay motionlessly.

The arms are bound, the muscles back are pushed together; the muscles over the breast pulled out, there is a radiation to the muscles over the belly.

After 20 minutes the arms feel senselessly. So they stay till the end.

If the arms are only fastened to the cross at the wrists by either nails or ropes as we usually see, then the arms will bend. How could the body be raised on the cross otherwise?

Never the arms are bend, all pictures are false.

The arms stay stretched during the whole crucifixion. To breath the victim must stretches his knees (a little) but not to long because the pain in the feet increases then enormously. So he falls down. The arms have not moved.
