Wow! Thank you very much! But one question about the color pictures on the page before, which look like being from a movie. When and where were they made? :

Ashampoo_Snap_2020.04.26_20h55m32s_001_.jpg

During the last days, I tried to bring some order in my porn collection, my untidy apartment, my disorderly lifestyle and especially my financial situation - I was really surprised how much my expenses differed from my income since I became unemployed because of the breakdown in my tourism sector.

To be honest, altogether at the same time, it seemed to be impossible in times of the coronavirus and after looking at all the disorder around me, I became very tired and went to sleep.
(During the last weeks, a very good way of handling problems because for me, some of them were really gone when I woke up again! ;) )

When I woke up again, I had the strange idea, I could try to combine the problems of my very private porn pictures with my financial situation and so I would like to ask here, if there are still any porn companies paying money for singular / solitary porn (art?) pictures, made in a rather old-fashioned way?

Or did the internet with its porn surplus already destroy such "markets"?
And where and how could I find reliable companies - or would it be better to try to sell them on my own by using "Patreon", "Deviant Art" or a provider for my very own internet homepage?

I really don't know, but if there is still interest by anyone, I could offer pictures like this one in this posting. I think, I might have hundreds in that style which I made for my own pleasure since I could use computers to combine them as good as possible.
No one except me has ever seen these pictures before and I think, they are considerably good ones - and now, you might imagine, why I call myself here "Silent Water".

The next problem might be, where a copyright starts and where it ends. My pictures are usually made like a "collage" of several pictures which may have copyrights.

It is not the case in the following picture but imagine, the woman on the right side might be from an old copyright-protected black-&-white picture, which I colored.
The device on which she is riding, might have a technical copyright (just mentioned as an example!) and the torturer on the left might be from another picture with an additional copyright.

This is usually the way how my pictures are assembled.

Would this be a problem, if I tried to sell them somehow or is the combination in a new picture lifting the copyrights away?

1 e device clrd 1a.jpg Thank you very much in advance for your answers!

(I just remarked for the first time that there is a word written wrong in the picture. Damn, this will be hard for me to sleep this night knowing this and being German!)

Hm, but maybe better, I will some pictures also never show to anyone, because it may sound strange here, but I really have moral problems with some of my own pictures.

Similar to the artist H.R. Giger, whom I mentioned in my very first posting here, I still would really often like to know where my imagination came and comes from.

When I was really angry about someone, I had ideas of new torture methods and I have drawn and painted them. When I got calm again, I was surprised where this idea could have come from and I think, I invented "by accident" in some of my pictures new torture methods I really would never like to see or hear to be used in reality.

I am now exaggerating, I know, but in my imagination I would never like to become someone like Robert Oppenheimer or Mikhail Kalashnikov, not in the smallest version ...

It sounds like you are occasionally shocked and surprised at what bubbles up out of your unconscious mind.. I think that’s normal.. it doesn’t make you a monster, unless you act on it. The wellsprings of creativity are usually buried in such shadowy places, and I refuse to see creativity and imagination as negative things. Besides, they’re a part of what makes us human.

My art goes to some dark places, but I’ve come to realise that there are little sparks that can only be seen against a black background. So don’t feel negative about your art. Draw what you love, and love what you draw.

Thank you very much! :)
By the way, are you a professional artist and can you live by selling your art or is your art rather a hobby for you? In any case, I must say that I always admired in my highest regard the details in your art and the time it must take to draw or paint them. No doubt, my pictures are done much faster without so much work.
So, please imagine me here in a Japanese-style bowing for you.

More of a hobby but I do commissions sometimes! (And I have about ten wonderful supporters in patreon)

Thank you once again. Maybe, I have to check patreon, if it is also interesting for me there.
I don’t know how to answer your copyright question, since I don’t do photomontage .. I get the feeling most practitioners kind of just hope for the best. Some rely on stock photos which are provided for that purpose , and they credit the stock provider; this seems to me to be a good approach, but what do I know ;). Copyright is a complicated issue.

Hi SilentWater,
The question of copyright can be a problem if you wish to make money out of somebody else's work.
It is worth doing some research, but briefly, there are rarely objections if the picture has been sufficiently transformed into something new and different from the original.
Here we have an attractive sample of Alice from the Femjoy series, 'Low Tide' by Valery Anzilov -

FemJoy-Ondine-Low-Tide-by-Valery-Anzilov-2012-02-01-3.jpg

The image has been subjected to Photoshop treatment by D-Lucky, who has placed two red dots on her breast to indicate gunshot wounds. He has also cropped the picture to remove the Femjoy logo. The new version appears in his DeviantArt gallery, and he is not attempting to sell it. The question remains, is this sufficiently transformative to avoid copyright infringement? I tend to have some doubts...

Alternatively, the same image has the figure extracted and placed in an entirely new environment by @cypher , who is a talented photo manipulation artist.
This is no longer a coastal glamour session for Femjoy, and the extra details contribute to a different kind of illustration. Both the figure and its new background image have been substantially transformed by the Photoshop process, and we can argue that the result is an entirely new creation. Again, there is no attempt to make money out of the picture.

There is a lot of erotic, fantasy art available on the internet, free of charge, and I hope this demonstration provides a few useful hints. Good luck with your endeavour. ;)

I think it’s hard to get people to pay you for access to your artworks, since (as Bob said) there’s so much available for free.. It helps if your style or content is distinctive and I think it’s a good idea to do stories, and release the first parts free, to get people hooked. Then they’re like “uhh where’d part three?” And you’re all “pay up bitches!!”

ive been trying this with my strip-searched story, posting the first part on DA but only sending people the rest if they give me some DA points or core membership (worthless now, thanks to Eclipse).. it was working ok but it’s all available free here on cf so that could be a problem.

patreon could be the way to go, but you’ve got to get a fuck ton of supporters to make it really commercial.. I’ve only got ten lol..but I love them all :D

Thank you very much for all of your experiences and your advice!

I am still very indecisive what I really would like to do. Having complete stories with my pictures would be nice but then I would have very much to add to the pictures and I am afraid I could lose then my "sexual equilibrium", looking suddenly at so many of my pictures at the same time.
On the one hand, it is always nice to get some friendly positive feedback for some photo manipulations for free here in this place, on the other hand I really would never have thought of making money out of it if there would not be this damned coronavirus in our world.

I think I will show you some of my manipulations more during the coming days and you can continue to cheer me up by telling me what a great digital artist I could still become in the future.
;)

In the meantime, I had a look at "Patreon" and "SubscribeStar" and I got the terrible feeling, I am too lazy for them because they seem to expect a constant flow or delivery of new art every month, but I have already many pictures and I would like to get back at some time in the future into the tourism business sector where I was before the coronavirus stopped any tourism.

So, I would rather prefer an internet site - and I don't know if something like that ever existed or if this is possible - in which I could upload pictures, offer them as appetizing examples in thumbnail size and the possibly interested customers could then download single pictures for a rather small price, e.g. 1 $ per picture in full size or they could download a complete folder for a higher price with all the pictures inside, e.g. all pictures with my photo manipulations of "wooden horses" like this one for about 15 $ and up to 20 pictures in one folder:

1 wooden horse 1.jpg Is there any provider who offers such a commercial internet site as I just imagined?

Thank you very much again!

I am currently following a discussion on DeviantArt led by an artist (Emarukk) who is looking for exactly the same thing because he would be unable to do something every month. Mention has been made of pixiv Fanbox. I am on pixiv, though I don't like the site very much, but I don't know how Fanbox works. Perhaps someone else here does?

That sounds and looks very interesting.
Is this "pivix" a Japanese site? Because I got the first information page in Japanese. Could be even more interesting because the Japanese have on the one hand a very high tolerance for BDSM-pictures, but on the other hand so strange "pixeling laws" for special body parts ...

Yes, it is a Japanese site. It has a very relaxed attitude to bdsm, gore, guro and just about everything else. But yes, many artists there censor 'special body parts'. (Often, they post different versions, with the 'safe' one being the one that is displayed as a thumbnail/first)
