I wonder what the woman in white in #3 is thinking as she watches.

She looks like she is almost indifferent to the other's suffering. This is a recurring trope in some of these. Here is a screen capture from an incredibly brutal interrogation scene I have (electro torture with a wicked-looking anal probe, and a wooden bar in her mouth to prevent her harming herself*). The woman watching really does not seem to care one iota.
