Why Some Threads Are Not Open For Further Comments?

    It's just my female curiosity: why some threads are "closed" for further comments?
    In every case the forum is one of the best organised ever!
    even I like mostly the contents indeed.

    The archive should also be permanently closed to further comment to keep it tidy although I often forget to tick the box. There is however a thread for comments and suggestions.
