Would you like to think this is a kind of crucifixion?

I can not find any suitable picture,so I'll describe my ideas in language.
Imagine a square made up of four wood, the victim's limbs are nailed to the four right angles of the square.
In fact,at this time the victim's posture is like she or he is nailed on a St Andrews cross, but because the square is hollow,so there is no shelter in the front and back of the victim. At this point, we can do something that can't be done to the victim when she or he is nailed to the other kind cross.
In fact, I don't think I'm the only one who thinks about this. Do you have any other information? What do you think?Would you like to think this is a kind of crucifixion?

You’re not the only one, hongzu. Yusebby's been thinking about these things for quite some time. Note the lower left hand corner in the drawing below.

It’s speculation, but informed speculation.

You meant this?01.jpg02.jpg03.jpg04.jpg05.jpg06.jpg07.jpg yeas, it's interesting.

This one is closest to my ideaView attachment 575253[/QU

I think a lot of people would call her spread eagled and not crucified. But if she were nailed to that square frame, or fastened to it to die, why the heck not call her crucifed? Arguing over that is just splitting hairs. You get tha same effect and same exposure on an X cross, and nobody argues that's not dictionary-definition crucifixion.

In fact, I suddenly realized that the idea could also be extended to a triangle or even a Pentagon...

Or a tesseract for that matter. The only constant I insist on is a pretty young woman, bare ass naked and in some species of distress.

The whipping frame or scaffold is an excellent way to expose a girl naked for whipping or whatever,
all parts of my body are exposed and defenceless. I find it's best if my ankles are chained or bound
with enough 'give' to let me (just) rest my toes on the bottom bar or floor, then my legs can 'dance'View attachment 575170
a bit, and my hips and trunk twist, while I'm tortured. For crucifixion, it would be essential to nail me
so my legs are flexed enough, again to allow movement and 'dancing', as in Apostate's examples.

Nice and beautiful explaining of a theme. Agree with you.

If you use a square, their back could be whipped.

The fullest definition of crucifixion is perhaps the one by Heinz-Wolfgang Kuhn from “Die Kreuzesstrafe während der frühen Kaiserzeit: Ihre Wirklichkeit und Wertung in der Umwelt des Urchristentums.” In Aufstieg und Niedergang der Römischen Welt. Vol. II.25.1. Edited by Wolfgang Haase, 648–793. Berlin: Walter de Gruyter, 1982. Ja, ja... :coti:

It's, let's say, inclusive. Kuhn's markers of crucifixion are: “suspension,” “completed or intended execution,” “with or without a crossbeam,” and “an extended death struggle.” Looks like Kuhn would've been okay with a tesseract crux, too.

磔.
In fact, this is for men, women use normal cross.

And both men and women remained clothed. For purposes of my own unclean crux fantasies, the Japanese were just spoilsports.

Helmut is not. Not one bit.
