So the reason I'm here is because I'm interested in crucifixion.

What attracted me to it in the first place was photosets I saw online, where the victim walks to the cross while bound and then kneels before it in prayer...she's then made to either carry it for a while or is tied to it right there. Like this

I love the ritual aspect of it but how much is that a part of it in the community? is that a thing or were those just one of a kind sets?

The ritual is more intriguing to me...

When I wrote my first crucifixion story here the act was as exciting as the lead-up. Now the lead up is more important to me with the emotions being explored...

I agree with Tree : for me , the eternal ritual of roman crucifixion is a little annoying ... I could , sometimes, return to it, but I think that there are a lot of manners to stage crucifixions ...
In fantasy, in my manips or my little stories, I try to be inventive and what it is important is the place of the crucifixion and what I can feel (or my victim can feel ) ...
In reality, it's necessary to change the development of the things and to find, at each time, a new scenario , otherwise it could quickly become not interesting and mainly not arousing ...

Just my opinion ...;)

Nice images Ella. You would probably find Pp there ready to inflict the scourging. Like others above, the lead up is more of interest to Pp.

I agree with Tree and Messa. For me the end part of the crucifixion ritual is almost anti-climatic. I fantasize about and enjoy more the eroticism of the various elements of the lead-up; and not only the stages and what happens at each stage, but especially the emotions, feelings, thoughts that race through my head ....fear, humiliation, pain, resignation, guilt, hope and despair. Nor does any of that take place in a vacuum ... there are also the interactions with and the thoughts of my tormentors, as well as those of the crowd of bystanders, whether they be friends, relatives, or strangers. Their scorn, taunts and lustful gaze are all a part of my growing degradation and despair as I am tried, stripped, scourged, marched to the place, perhaps deprived of my last vestige of clothing, forced down on my cross, brutally nailed and raised to dance my final dance.

a lot of people are into the ritual. sometimes a whipping before is part of the whole ritual. to me the whole ritual leading up to it, with it's agonizing and terrifying anticipation is one of the most intense parts...

Hope everyone has noticed Danielle's new "MH-creation" avatar....stunning Danielle!!!

Hum, I'm not entirely agreeding with that : I adore to be naked while I'm suffering to the cross ; I like my body and more when I'm suffering ; I adore all the marks that the whip has made on it and mainly, this blood flowing from my nailed wrists and feet ...
I consider myself like a proud amazon, happy to show how I can , even nailed nude to a cross, be resisting to this brutal world ...
Just my opinion ...;)

I don't see how that is disagreeing Messa. I would like all that you say here too....so much can be said, can't it? It's why we are all here. Hard to get everything about it in a single post.

...my growing degradation and despair...
There were these some words which made me reacting : I dont consider my crucifixion like a degradation, but rather than an enhance (mise en valeur ...); I'm proud to be a crucified woman ...
But perhaps that I didn't well understood your point of view ...
 Aaaargh ! It could be better if I expressed me in French ....

Yes, I see your point Messa. It can be both for me, depending on the circumstance. When you do your manips, and do me the honor of hanging naked and whipped beside you, I think it is a point of pride for me. Other times, though, the thrill is in being a victim. Both are powerful.
