Using a slip knot would be good!
No, as it could self-tighten and cut off the blood supply to the hand, as well as potentially damaging the ulnar nerve. Wrap rope around the wrist, with the 'rigger' slipping a couple of his/her own fingers underneath; tie it off in a hitch to form a loop and then pull the fingers from underneath. Alternatively, a bowline should be safe, but it should be tied in a doubled end of rope, to reduce the pressure on the wrist.

Good advice...a slip knot would be easy to untie in the event of an emergency!

Bowline knots are the way to go, slip knots are, as the name suggests, self tightening and will block blood circulation, besides unbearable pain.
I thought I posted this here but I think I did it only on the Foundation, so here we go:
"How to do a bowline"

And if we are at it:
Bondage safety fundamental Nr. 1:

If bondage has to be removed quickly, there is one (and only one!) way to go: Use a "multi purpose scissor" like the one shown to cut the ropes!
Note that it has very short, stable blades that are not pointy!
This tool has to be "on man" (or woman) when doing bondage!

Even if the victim jerks you can get between rope and skin and cut ropes of any size, without risk to wound!
Forget knifes (open cutting edge, pointy -> dangerous) and also forget untying, what may be impossible under tension and if the victim jerks. (Think of cramps as primary reason for a quick release)
