Crucifixions of Rufus

I have been viewing the videos on youtube and just started browsing the conversations on this forum.
I have to first say GOOD JOB!!!. You have done several good versions of a crucifixion. Two things that stand out which
may have been mentioned before. First is starting out with a scourging, like it would have been done by the Romans. Hard to do when
alone but could be accomplished. Photo manips and other photos of scourging were good. Would love to see it in video. Second is being crucified naked. Probably won't fly on youtube but it would add to the realism of the experience. Victim was not supposed to enjoy it bet be humiliated by the whole experience of being exposed naked.
BTW I did several similar crucifixions in the past so I know how it feels. Nice to see another that shares the "passion"

Update: Read over most of the posts and I understand that you are not into the naked bit.
You need to do it your way and the way the you feel the best.
Maybe a very small loincloth like you used in some of the earlier photos would work????
Like October 3, 2018 post but a bit smaller???

Thank you, I do have scourging videos and I act out in them as if I was being whipped but you can clearly see that no one is whipping me, I though it would be awkward to post it. I can put it together if their is an interest in it.
I totally agree that if I was to be crucified back in the days it would be completely naked, but at this point I prefer have loincloth maybe it's because of all the Jesus movies I watched with the loincloth.
I am thinking on how to make my crucifixion different next time (other than no loincloth), any ideas are welcomed.

Well I have a couple of suggestions.

First, A slightly higher cross would let you hang in a better position.
Just to get your feet a foot or more above the ground and outstretched arms at 40 degrees.

Maybe try a St Andrews Cross

Rather than explain I am posting a photo of a few positions using a higher cross .

Second, Use a Titulus for each crucifixion.
It adds to the realism. ( at lease for me it does)

Third, Headband of some sort.
It can double as a crown of thorns In a way.

Just some ideas to think about

Good ideas, I was thinking to about crown of thorns for my next crucifixion.

Any suggestions on what to write on the Titulus?

Usually from movies and research the text was usually some combination of the criminal's name and crime
Many I have scene just had the crime. Could be in Latin or English. RUFUS THE REBEL was good. anything like that would work.
Looking over my crucifixion photos and material it looks like it is a detail that is usually left out of most reenactments.
Purpose was so everyone know the reason why the guy was crucified.
Could also be worn around your neck while you carry the cross.

Forgot to add that adding your age was a new twist.
I had not seen that before.
 
Here are some old photos I collected with examples of the crown of thorns. To show agony, you need to zoom the camera in on the chest and upper torso. Your struggle on the cross and heavy breathing will add to the drama. Filming from this view point, eludes the question of whether or not having the loin cloth since the focus is on the upper body:

Yes! The covering can be very sensual. On one hand it may bring attention to the genitals but on the other hand, hiding them makes people explore the rest of your body with their lustful eyes...
 
What happemed to Rufuss?
According to his profile he was seen here last at 26. Dec. 2018, that was more than 3 weeks ago.
I hope he is only on vacation and he did not have an accident or something like that... self-crucifixion without the support of other people is not an effort without risk or endangerment, I would presume ... I hope he is well...
