Hi!

Let me start this topic abaut my second favorit executeion. Of course the first is crucifixion, but I'm alwais become very excited when I see an image abaut an impaled woman. Here is some that I managed to collect.
I am also looking for some new pictures to my collection, so if anyone have some, please post here!

I've never even thought about impaleation but the secon picture here is very exciting! I imagine it would be terribly painful though.

So it doesn't get censored? Or so they don't get sued because FX does bill itself as an "R" rated channel?

Seems pretty obvious to me.

Well i think you are right, but i dont understand why movies/series depicting other forms of execution beheading, crucifixion, gutting etc dont get sued or censored, is it so different?

In my mind no but remember you have to consider venue too.

For example "Game of Thrones" (and no I have never seen one minute of it) has a lot of material in it that certain people may find objectionable and is certainly worse than this but the venue has already established itself as presenting material, up thru what would be considered "R" rated in the US and honestly it is close to "X" rated, with significant 'adult' content and costs a premium to get.

FX on the other hand portrays itself as a little more 'family' oriented and many times is a channel you get as part of a package instead of a premium.

The 'graphic' line is blurry and only moves slowly. Many things that are on today's broadcast TV would not have been presented 30 years ago. And even then stuff was censored out when some movies were broadcast.

"Last Tango in Paris" got an adult rating when it was released, today it wouldn't even draw a yawn.

The only thing about Game of Thrones that I found totally offensive was the absolutely disgraceful mess that was the final season :(

I think you are right...

That's not true...70s, 80s films depicting gore and other X scenes which in my opinion they wouldn't dare to broadcast in ourdays...

True in the THEATER not on TV and that seems to be the point you are missing. FX is TELEVISION not the theater. HBO, etc didn't position themselves that way from the start. FX did.

And even back then theaters had rules as to who was or was not allowed to be in attendance.

There was a time when it was said European studios made two versions of the same film. One for general consumption and one for France. The French one had to have nudity and maybe even sex in it if the French were going to watch it. It was actually a joke but there are many cases of multiple versions of films to be made depending on the audience and there are certainly cases of films being ok in one country and censored in others.

Always follow the money trail and you'll usually understand why something is or is not done.

When I was much younger, adult movies (which were very hard to find in the UK at the time - expensive and highly illegal too) were referred to as "French Films", regardless of where they originated.

Be aware that even today, multiple versions of new films are made. For example, those intended for he Chinese market cannot show blood, nudity, anything magical or supernatural and so on. Sadly a lot of western studios are starting to censor local releases to avoid the cost of multiple cuts for distribution, so even here in the west, we are being censored by the Chinese government :(

Why can't they just stick to making chow mein and supplying us with cheap stuff on ebay instead of fucking up our entertainment?

My first impalement render

Gemma impaled.jpg

This is also my first proper attempt at using a real photo background for one of my renders. I'm not sure that it looks quite right, and I have no idea how to render blood trails so the blood is photoshopped and it doesn't look great but otherwise it's not too bad I think

I think that's reaaly good. And I wouldn't have known it was either your first impalement render, or your first use of a photo background. I love the position of her body! Really sexy, and she does look impaled. I do have to agree with you about the blood, though.

Thank you. I'm just learning this stuff and I know I need a lot more practice but I'm getting there now :)

Gemma is one of my own Daz3D creations, using a Genesis 3 figure as a starting point. She is (accidentally) based on a good friend's 21-year-old daughter. It wasn't my intention to create a 3D model of her - I was just playing around with various figure and hair assets and then suddenly it just kind of looked like her, so I decided to name her after the real Gemma :)
